Description

A dream of a wild camp.
- Beautiful River with access
- On a Meadow with Sun or shady trees
- Quiet and we saw in 2 days only a fisherman
- Clean and no trash around.

Simple perfectly but fire is actually not allowed (but there is a fire ring).

Coming from the South, take the track on the left, before crossing the wooden bridge. Coming from route 5 is a 30km of unpaved road till the coordinates.

Wonderful spot indeed. I came while it was raining but the big tree provides cover.
Farm just on the other side of the river, largely hidden from view.
No cell service whatsoever.
I was a bit nervous because of the Mapuche thing, but this feels save.

Wow, we stopped for lunch but stayed the night. What a perfect spot. The access road here has low-hanging branches that might be in the way for higher trucks, but otherwise it will not be a problem for anyone who has already gotten here over the main gravel road. That one is a bit steep, here and there.

Lovely and peaceful place, worth it for 2 days stay due to the 30km unpaved road each way if accessing from route 5, your car is going to take a beating :)

very nice area, shaded campsite and a flowing river adjacent. blew a tyre on the way in due to the road conditions; make sure you're prepared!

lots of blackberry bushes for breakfast too ;-)

ps. if you find any rubbish please take it with you!

Perfect ! We could go down easily with our Asia Topic (but the biggest RV could struggle, and weather is to be taken into account as well), we were awaken by a few cows and a « gaucho », going to the river :) but no problem at all !

Beautiful meadow next to a river, indeed. Large tree for shade, lots of space in the sun.

Coming from the South (from the road to Thermal de Tolhuaca from Ruta 5), the descent to the river is quite steep and may not be suitable for RVs.

There is a inhabited house across the river.

Great place for a day of rest!
