Something not right?

Description

Just before the junction of the bypass road of Benin City, 100m to the right, passing a couple of shops and a school. The hotel is mainly occupied by customs officers on duty at a post on the main road who were very friendly and silent. Rooms for 3,000 non-ac, 4,000 ac and 7000 N (bigger room in newer building, warm shower worked), with TV and air condition, shower (ours did not work, and we used the bucket); electricity from 6 pm to around 8 am from the generator.—we had city electricity during afternoon and all night. They sell beer, water and soft drinks and will cook for you on demand—we had v good local dinner. Friendly and cheerful staff. Clean rooms and sheets; they clean daily and change the sheets.
Cars can park inside the hotel grounds. There is a height bar on the access road (we came from backside of hotel and didn’t see one) that they can lift if the car is too high.

Rooms start at 3,000N non-ac, 4,000N ac—we stayed in newer building 7,000N ac larger upstairs room. All rooms en-suite and have ceiling fan and tv. Our warm shower worked and windows had screens so didn’t need ac. Clean room (superior to damp smelling cave-like rooms at Lixborr Hotel in town). Family staff very friendly and cooked us a local dinner that was v good. Sunday night, bar was a little noisy but quieted down at 11. Secure parking in walled compound. Recommended if staying in Benin city.
