Something not right?

Description

Paulo Imbali is an English teacher in Bissau and a “professional” Couchsurfer with quite a bit of Overlander guests. Call him before arriving in Bissau to see if he’s available. +245 955735194 / [email protected]. You can park the car / bike safely in his garden and meet his family and friendly neighbors. No electricity, bucket shower only. Possibility to fill the water tanks since he has a well with potable water. Basic comfort but a family with a big heart who love to have foreigners at their place. It’s free but it’s cool to buy some fish for lunch or leave something for the family, what you feel is right.

A true legend of Bissau. He was Ill when I visited but still let me camp outside. His wife cooked so good.

If you do visit, buy some sweets, juice or food for the family - the kids would be so happy!
