Description
Huge and leveled gravel parking lot in the backyard of the gas station. Clean toilet with free cold shower. No security guard, but therefore no one who expects a tip - so free camping. The answer of the friendly stuff to one of the typical travelers questions was ‘aquí no pasa nada...’. There is a restaurant and there are also rooms to rent. Although there is WiFi, it’s obviously not open for guests or only for office use. Bad Movistar reception.

Estación de servicio segura y tranquila para una noche en el camino de Medellín hacia Caribe (desde la estación hasta el Caribe la ruta es bastante recta y rápida, desde la estación hacia Medellín hay muchas curvas). El personal es muy amable, recargamos nuestro tanque de 180lts de agua.
Report Check-Innice parking place behind a petrol station with very friendly staff. Toilet, shower and parking is free. we even survived heavy Rain and a hurricane that passed 1km next to us. We slept here in a tent next to our small 4x4.

Report Check-InVery nice guy let us stay for free even if we did not want to buy Diesel. We were able to refill our water tank! This is finest service. We did not try the showwrs or toilets, are self contained. Level spot, perfect for the night.

Report Check-InBest option of the lot near here — big flat gravel lot behind the gas station so fairly set back from the road. Station is open all night and the guys there were friendly. We felt safe and welcome. Bathroom and cold shower. A few big trucks came and went but it was a lot quieter than the gas station 15 k south that also had an agricultural checkpoint so everyone had to stop and wake their cattle up for inspection. Decent TIGO reception.
