Disclaimer: We didn't stay here.

Beautiful site which is open and grassy and in a lovely beach. Nate who runs the place is very friendly and helpful. If you don't need an electricity hook up this place is an excellent option. Unfortunately for us they don't allow electricity hook ups any more which we needed so we didn't stay here. Price is $5per person camping. We went back down the road to Vista Del Pacifico which is also in a beautiful spot, cheaper and they allowed us to connect to power. but it's a smaller site so won't fit big vehicles.

Nate is the Boss. Met up with some friends here and was surprised to find this gem of a property. Loads of room. Plenty of parking options. Great cheap food. Staff is wonderful. Ended up on a surf boat for 25 pp for one of our best days surfing in Nica. No wifi but it's no problem. Extensive library available. Also lots of volunteer options to help supplement the community education opportunities. Would have liked to stay longer to check out the frisbee golf course up the road!

So the place is still open and camping there is also still possible. We did not like that you are kind of charged extra for nearly everything. Electricity just for the fridge we have in the back would have been 100 cordobas each day. If you want to have internet there is only a modem and a computer and they write down the exact times of usage. Also they charge automatically a daily fee for filtrated drinking water only if you say at your check in that you have your own water it will not be charged. Otherwise there is lots of space to camp/park. The beach is near and clean. The toilets and showers were ok and clean. There is no kitchen or so available. But a sink where you can either wash dishes or your clothes. We payed 288.50 cordobas/10$ per night.

This was literally one of the only places open this time of year. Only place that would let us camp! We desperately needed wifi so did not stay, but otherwise would have. Great location, great vibe and really friendly owner.

It is a nice place but you can feel that the owner has finished with this business (Place is for sale). Lisa the manager was really friendly and helped with everything we needed. Definitely a nice stop.

Report Check-In

5$ pP. to sleep in the camper. Space to park is behind all the buildings. No beachfront camping possible. Internet is slow, only at a shared computer. Common living area is nice.

Report Check-In

Great chilled out place. Nate the owner is receptive to providing electricity for an additonal fee, price to be negotiated per individual needs. Fyi. The place is for sale if anyone is interested. Surf board rental, tours, yoga etc available. Restaurant with good meals.

Report Check-In

5$ per Person / night.
Definitely NO electricity! We negotiated a lot with the owner, but he made bad experiences with campers using too much electricity by using microwaves or other stuff, that he generally doesn't allow campers to plug in anymore, although we only have a tiny fridge, nothing more.
