Description

You can park on the open field under one of the trees.
We saw cyclists put up their tents under the roof of the old railway station
There is a sink on the back of the railway station and just before the stone wall when you enter there is a tap with potable water.
The big barn like building had a tiny store. Best to come prepared
People are very friendly and they said yes park anywhere you like.
You might share the field with horses and cows.
( not sure if the water at the sink is potable)

Latest Check-Ins

The field to camp for free is now mainly aside/below the old railroad bridge. Entrance a bit low because of a tree, but we were able to gently push through with our 3.5m high rig. You might be allowed to still also camp behind the former warehouse, if you ask. The confiteria/restaurant in the old station was closed when we arrived (Sunday 18:00), but made the impression that it could still be open here and there.

Report Check-In

We arrived there in the afternoon and the confiteria was closed unfortunately. Carcamping was possible behind the warehouse. Store in the barn was open. No cell phone coverage.

lovely quiet spot to stay for the night. We went into the little shop and asked was it ok to camp overnight and they had no problem. lots of places to park, 3 other campervans parked up around the village. Nice to explore the old railway bridge. Toilets clean, had key in the door to unlock.

Good place to spend the night, Very peacefull and complete silence after 22:00hs. No facilities, The water from the river is very muddy to any use!

Report Check-In

Since Feb-22 the old train station has been renovated and converted into a fancy restaurant, so no more sleeping in the platform now. Plenty other places to improvise camping nearby though

Report Check-In

A perfect place to spend the day by the river and the night at the station.

Report Check-In

The trail station is very good place to camp, quite with some birds sound. Despensa opened until 20h.

No mobile connection. No WiFi.

we arrived on bicycles and asked where to camp at the store (basic, but cold drinks and lots of snacks). they directed us to the river but as it started raining, we asked to put the tent under the train station and that was completely fine with them. nothing fenced. fairly clean. tab behind station doesn't work and toilets are closed. but except for that, all peaceful and feels like home (written from a German ;-))

Report Check-In

The whole field is now fenced, you can’t access it. There was also a board at the entrance of the train station saying it was under construction and that it is forbidden to access it. We didn’t look forward and left this place

Quiet place very nice for free. there is a little kiosco next to the place if you want to buy something very basics.

set up my tent under the roof of the train station. I was told the water on the tap behind the station was good to drink so I did. no public bathrooms

Report Check-In

Calm night. As access to the train station was under repair, we parked in front of a shed, nice people who provided us with water (see photo)
