Description

Stunning location next to jagged peaks and waterfall. Amazing boondock spot! We camped next to the river with a view out our back window of a waterfall coming from a snow covered mountain. Just beautiful hidden spot. Look for small dirt road after Cerro Castillo gate and follow it towards waterfall.

Report Check-In

We spent the afternoon here, it's a beautiful spot but very windy and quite cold. At 6pm someone from Conaf arrived to tell us we couldn't camp. The high number of fire pits here may be making them more cautious. If you stay, be subtle and don't light fires - it's not allowed in national parks.

Not so Wild anymore with two other vehicles. Nice spot though and enough Space for privacy. 1136mhigh so wind can be a bit chilly. The coldest night so far. Sun reaches over the mountains too late to warm up. Be prepared for a cold night (0C)

just lovely. even if you don't want to camp it is worth stopping buy to have a look.

Report Check-In

Definitely an awesome spot for an overnight. There was a snow storm while we were here and it was a great spot to ride it out!

Beautiful location, plenty of space, makes for a perfect stop along the Austral.

Report Check-In

Quiet area, nestled between some beautiful mountains, away from the road, free from dust and well hidden for privacy. The turn off is a small gravel road about 1km from the gates to the park - it comes up quick so keep an eye out for it. Follow the road all the way up to a large open area. Some flat spots for tents, near a small waterfall and stream. Lots of prickles this time of year. No facilities.
