Coming from North, you pass a bridge and follow the route 7 for a little more. Right after the next bend you see a gravel road on your right. Follow it along the river until it ends. There is a wooden fence with some cows and trees on one side, on the other the river and in the middle a larger gravel turning area to park/ a small patch of grass only and minor trash as well as a fire ring. Quiet and hidden. Mobile signal available.

Viajamos en un motorhome, nos quedamos una noche y fue super bien. Llegamos al sitio un poco tarde y estuvo todo muy tranquilo. En la mañana desayunamos ahi y seguimos camino a hornopiren. La experiencia fue buena!

we travelled on a motorhome, stayed there one night and it went really well.
We arrived late to the spot and everything was super quiet.
We even had breakfast there before continuing to hornopiren. The experience was good!
Good spot next to the river. We stayed here for one night and nobody bothered us. The only thing was that at 1am people came to get the cows out of the area (weird but they didn't bother us). 3G Entel connection.

Stayed here for 2 nights waiting for our ferry.
In the second night (01:30) a young man was at our door, saying he was the land owning family, and wanted 20.000 pesos.
Other than that a perfect spot.
(I don’t mind paying for a spot, but 20.000 in the middle of the night is just b****hit)
Really nice and quite spot hidden from the road.
Access as previously described, easily doable stoney road and no mud although it was raining last two days nonstop.

Report Check-InGreat river spot. Room for 2 vehicles at the end. Some grassy areas. There’s another spot on the same road, closer to the highway. Some people walked by on the other side of the river, but they didn’t mind. Was a nice place to stay out of town, and close enough to drive to the ferry in the morning
Report Check-InNice place to stay one night or so, lots of space for cars and/or tents. River is nice to cool down after a long day.
We spent the night here coming from Puerto Montt on our way to Hornopiren. As we took the early ferry (08:30 h) we looked for something close by and we can highly recommend the place. Neighbor dropped by and asked us if we would stay the night as apparently many do so, but had no problem with us staying here.
Quiet! a lot of birds if you’re into that. PLEACE take your toilet paper with you!! and follow the “leave no trace” rules.
Report Check-InWow! Very cold river, but we took a quick dive in it. Lovely! A group of cows came by. In the evening and early in the morning. There's a place to make a camp fire only we didn't found the right wood to make a good one (lots of rain - all wet).

Report Check-InNice spot for Vans and Rigs and maybe 1 or 2 tents. Sunny, quiet, a bit off the Carretera. The river is cold and clear. Sunny until late (in summer), protected from wind, too. The sign said Se vende.
