All these forest roads are temporarily closed as of April 30 2022. Looks like it’s due to forest fires or controlled burning

Plenty of spaces for secluded dispersed camping. Strong connection with Verizon (4 bars with the occasional 3 bars).

This is a very easy place to spend the night. Off Hwy 89 west of Sunset Crater NM. Many spots, mostly flat and very dispersed when we were there 11.1.2020

The road was closed when we tried to turn from the highway at night on May, 27th, 2018.
