There isn’t really any good camping by the waterfall and the only way to get in is by bribing some annoying guys from the military. Waterfall is not special after Sala and Doucki. I would recommend to avoid this place unless you’re a big fan of waterfalls and want to pay (bribe) to camp.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
The information is correct: you pay a lot of money for nothing.
They are agressive and rude [one wears a shotgun]
We have experienced the opposite:
Proper entrance gate with a smiling military guy. We payed 50 000 pp and got back a bill without even asking for it. He showed us around and checked in later if we need something.
We could also fill up our water tanks (almost 1000 l) from the Chinese stuff of the dam.
The place is the safety zone of the Kinkon Dam with a beautiful big waterfall in it. Safe and quite so we stayed one more night for 50 000 extra.
Report Check-Inmilitary very agressive and corrupt. parked near the river the first night without telling him, he came looking for me shouting i should have said i was spending the night and it wasn't safe there. made me park near his station. gave the guy a beer on the second day and he was happy. no facilities at all, but expect to pay anyway.
