While going to Machu Picchu you can park safely here in this huge enclosed compound for 10 soles a night, maintained by an old man called Holguin (as recommended by the local police, whose office is very nearby). Nothing fancy but very reliable. He is used to guard local private buses etc.) You can also sleep in your vehicle. NB : during rainy season, it is not recommended to drive to Santa Teresa (frequent roadblocks). Big green gate, but bang very loudly and call him with loud voice, because he is a bit old and the compound is big... (it took us 5 mn to get heard!). Toilets are more than basic but at least they exist. There are also several water basins and taps.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

Now 20s a night. nothing fancy, a large yard, with dirty bathrooms, but safe and secure. Good for a stopover between Cusco and the hydroelectric near machu pichu.
