Beautiful place at the bay. You have the choice of camp up the hill or down at the bay. A bit of a steep descend leads to this place. Busy during the day with line fishers but nobody at night. Probably busy during weekends/ holidays. Nice swimming and snorkelling all around with little beaches in the bay.

Busy on a Saturday with cars, jets & boats. After 21:00 everybody was gone. Humid and hot in summer. Lovely swimming & views from the top.
Report Check-Incame here on Saturday evening and the place was full with cars. didn't feel comfortable and went to the hill.
Report Check-InNice place in principle, but seems to have become very popular among both tourists and young people from Muscat. We were here on a friday, sharing the small beach with ca 12 other cars, music, people going out for canoeing, or noisily speeding up and down the shore with jet skis. until midnight (it was full moon). Boats a little distance from the beach added their music to the cacophony. If you look for a quiet spot definitely do not go there on a friday. On the other hand this close to Muscat it seems to be similar everywhere on fridays.
Otherwise nice small beach with a small island in front of it. Snorkeling possible. The track down to the beach is extremely rutty (by people towing 2 jet skis...) and quite steep. But with L4 & diff lock (and without towing anything) driveable.
Nice place, was busy with tourists so not a very quiet camp spot. The area to park is pretty small.
The way down is steep and has become very bumpy (looks like people have had trouble getting up and spun their wheels). Driving back up is tricky, engage low gear and lock your diff.
Report Check-InLovely spot, a few others at the weekend but generally clean and great for a swim. Saw a cornetfish hanging out in the shallows while sipping coffee on a rock.
