Mexico
Great spot for one night if you are visiting Guachimontones. We arrived as they were about to close and didn’t use their pools. Paid 40pesos to camp overnight in our van. It was quiet and felt really safe. They have an overnight guard. A few locals also camping in tents on the other side of the park, so we weren’t kept up by them. Lots of picnic tables.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
A little bit run down, no water in the toilets, paid 100PpP before 6 pm. OK for one night to visit the nice town and Guachimontones.
Report Check-InArriving at 2pm, we had to pay 200 pesos per person, 100 for the pool even though the weather was gloomy, and 100 for the night, i.e. 400 pesos for two. The toilets are dirty, but above all, there's no water! So no shower either!
Quiet night, but far too expensive.
Awesome place, clean, quiet, lots of nature all around you, nice swimming pools, friendly people
Report Check-InLovely peaceful spot - very tranquil.
100 posts per person after 6pm (until 11am).
Lots of trees around affecting Starlink but 4 bars of cell signal.
Owned & run by Norma who speaks good English, her number is 33 3577 8079.
Toilets here but no toilet seats!
Pricing seems to be decided randomly, we paid 200 for two people and a motorhome before 6pm. The pools and slides are very fun and it was a super quiet night. The town has nicely sized streets for bigger rigs to get through.
Report Check-Inwas charged 160 pesos for 2 motorbikes, camping in 1 tent. 1 other large overlanding vehicle there for the night. The locals use it and there is lots of native bird life so no pets makes sense.
Toilets are average, there was an open outdoor shower but didn't try it. we did swim in the pools though.
difficult discussion, 150PpP if you arrive before 6pm, after 6pm 100PpP, its a beautiful Garden, guard call the english speaking Manager Lady, Pools are ok, a bit cold in this time of the year, walking distance to the nice town and to the pyramids, spingwater tast iron, no wifi, no electic, no dump, large parking area near the pools
beware of the gate, Max hight 4 m, may be 3,90m., no pets allowed (or ask before...or Park in Front of the gate)
Parc with swimmingpools and you can camp where ever you want.
100$ per person and pets are not allowed (we could stay with dog on leash, because she missed it when we asked and we already paid...).
It's quiet and good to stay to visit the ruins, one woman speaks good english. It's okay but not welcoming like other places we were till now.
Perhaps it was because of our dog - but she was quiet a bit rough when she saw the dog and didn't believe us we asked her just before...
Quiet place to stay one night when visiting the archeological site. We paid 80 pesos per person in a van. Very nice people. Bathrooms and showers too.
Report Check-InTent camped here the night, charged $150pesos for 2people. Bathrooms stay open all night and had toilet paper. Showers looked abit dodgy so opted for a swim in the pools instead. The lower one was our favourite, lots of little fish will come and nibble your feet and a natural stone bottom.
Word of warning, don’t park your camper or tent under a tree, as creatures will poop a nasty fruit seed mixture on your vehicle.
Had the place to ourselves after the day visitors had left. Nice and quiet
Decent place for 1 night. Was charged $140 pesos for 2 people. Was here on a Friday night. A few other locals that were very quiet. Everything as described by others still looks the same. Town was very laidback.
Report Check-InNice spot for a night, toilets don’t have seats and normal Mexican level of maintenance, but also lovely wide grassy areas to camp on.
We paid $120 pesos ($60 pp). The owner (?) spoke great English and was lovely. Apparently they don’t allow dogs, but allowed us to stay with ours since it was after 6pm when they arrived and we were already here (someone else earlier had said it was ok). No one else here.
Our first night in a Balneario. Lot of places to stay for a night, lot of trees, friendly locals. Good place to stay for a night. 120 MXN for the two of us. Could be difficult with a big rig, no problem with our VW Van.
Report Check-InGreat place to spend a night before going to Guachimontones. 60 pesos per person to camp, toilets but no showers. Pools available for use. A small shop with very basic supplies and a restaurant.
Report Check-InCame in at the end of the day, charged us 60 pesos/adult and 40/kids to stay until 10 next morning. Natural pool open all night, water is refreshing.
Michel
