Description

Perfect location (Calle Consulo 511), Just around the corner of the well-known spot Las Mercedes and only a 10 min. walk to the square and all the sights. In my opinion the much better option. It is further away from the main road and therefore not as noisy as Las Mercedes. Absolutely save and you park in a lovely garden. You get the key to one of the hotel-rooms with spotless clean toilets and showers. Fast WIFITo access you have to pass Las Mercedes and do a full circle around the block you can park in front of the gate and ring the bell. It is maybe a good idea to call ahead as there is only space for up to three rigs. Very big rigs have to be careful when passing through the gate as it is narrow.

Nice place in a quiet, beautiful garden where kolibries are flying. Poor facilities: one suicide shower with half hot water and one little sink outside in the garden. Relatively expensive (60 Sol for 2 persons).

Errors:
1. Coords are wrong. Should be
-16.40007, -71.54084
2. This is not a hotel, but a very nice B&B with formal camping for 3 pickup size campers.
3. Apart from the proximity to the Plaza de Armas, camping under the shade of a roof makes it worth the money . See pic

Diana and her husband make this place special and extremely accomodating. they gave us lots of recommendations. Moreover, you are close to the center, the supermarket, etc. They even have somebody picking up and bringing back the laundry. try their incredible breakfast once, it is like a brunch. Simple bathroom, but they always clean it well. nice garden and really quite for being in the centre.

very gentle and helpful owners. staying on a grassy ground, space for two rigs. new bathroom with hot shower and toilet, electricity on site. five minutes by feet to town center and a big supermarket. you hear the roaring of the town, so it is a little bit noisy, but no main road traffic. payed 60 soles per night, not very cheap, but ok.

Good place to stay in Arequipa with save parking. Good Wifi and clean bathroom.

Here we have one of the best examples how to money changes the world. They want now to have 100s per night. If you want a hot shower and electricity. She told me they don t want to work anymore with overlanders. Stayed here one night. Toilets not clean and no paper and the shower you don t have to pay is less than warm. Hot shower cost 80s with 2 Persons then electricity extra 20s. Really sad.

The location of this nice place actually is one block east and uphill of the posted coordinates, right across from where Lima Street joins Consuelo. One way to enter is to come down the hill on Consuelo and turn left on Lima, turn around on Lima, and drive in straight through the gate.

Sayed at Las Mercedes.

We asked for the posability to stay. But as it was high season they don't offer to open an apartment for showering or the toilets. We only could have stayed without toilets and showers, for a price higher than at La Merced

Wonderful little oasis in the heart of Arequipa. The host is very friendly and the breakfast in the garden is amazing. Freshly squeezed juice, pancakes, fruits... We can also park our van here for a couple of days without staying here. Highly recommendable!

Stayed here. They want more hotel guests but they've still got a few places to park for overlanders. No pitching tents. Also there's no bathroom, they let us use on of the empty room's bathrooms.

Very nice camping with gardens and they made a spotless room available for a bathroom. Diana greeted us and in perfect English, gave us recommendations for restaurants and sight seeing. The camping is on the expensive side at s/. 77 per night for camper and two people.
