this place is no campsite anymore. There is house for permanent rental. landlord Mr Rengo let us camp in the garden for 8 $ p.p. we could use bathroom, living area and kitchen. Lovely place but no idea if he will do this more often if the house it not rented.

Friendly and helpful. However, at this point don't offer any camping. Partly because their guest house is occupied so they can't offer any bathroom or showers right now, but also the owner wasn't there and it sounds like he prefers not to offer this any more. Didn't close the entry as the owner should confirm first.

wow! We came in late and Ramon, Vincent (the owner Sam was away) helped us out with everything. Such nice, really welcoming and friendly guys! Feel right at home, they just want you to have a great time and enjoy there place. Ramon even went with us for a good Tanzanian breakfast and showed us around town. You’re staying at there garden while they are working on the Landcruisers at the back. We had a nice beer together, great talking about life and Tanzania and the people. Highly recommend, a great time is guaranteed! Thanks for everything guys!!! Mezungu’s Arne&Mirjam ;-)))

This is no longer a campsite/accommodation as it has been converted full time to a garage workshop. Sam is very helpful and friendly if you have any work needing doing on vehicles - can get quite booked up though so would contact in advance. They also operated from another garage in Arusha (under same name).

We needed to get our Ford Ranger repaired unexpectedly and were referred to the Garage by fellow travellers.

They managed to do panel beating and found original parts, all installed professionally for a very reasonable price.

While the repairs were being carried out, we were able to camp on the property; dorm rooms also available.

Sam and Dimitri (the owners) are wonderful and will do what they can to help you out.

We arrived late at the evening and Sam and his family let us stay with our tent and our bikes in the garden, also we could take a hot shower and good wifi connection. We will apreciated all he have done for us.

No place to camp but the guy offer us a room. Clean and secure but shower was cold. The owner is very friendly and is a land rover and bike fanatic. Also we got our land rover pop up roof fix at his garage

good place in Moshi, friendly Owner, motorcycle Workshop with everything you need, I could fix my exhaust for free and had help of the mechanic, rooms or camping, no Restaurant but small Shops and Cafes around. security all night

This place is situated just a bit out of town and is well fenced with a guard. The area is not really suited for overland vehicles as there is no space. However you can stay in one of the rooms which has a shower and toilet, all clean. The also have some places to pitch your tent. There is no bar or restaurant, but There is a common area inside and outside and a fridge to put your drinks cold. Wifi is not available when we were there. Price $8 pppn. We stayed 1 night.

Highly recommend! This place is one of the best options in Moshi, if your not wanting to stay in a hotel. We had a great experience with Sam and his property is incredibly clean and well kept. Lots of grass areas to pitch a tent, as well as great rooms and lodging. Perfect for overlanding motorcycles as he has a great KTM motorbike shop at the back so can help out with any maintenance or issues. Nothing was a problem for him. The whole property has a charming feel as it’s decorated with lovely antique bikes and land rovers.

Stayed here for two nights.
The place is still under development, and it probably will take a while until it's done. While we stayed here, there was no garage to work the bikes, no tools, no kitchen and no WiFi. We were told 10 USD pppn for camping, but slept in a room for 40 USD per night with AC. Not really worth the stiff price, as it doesn't include breakfast and the lack of workplace and tools we expected. We were also told to leave the last day, as the owner wanted to go on a motorcycle trip.

However, he is friendly and helpful if you have anything to sort out on your bike/truck. He knows all the people in the area so he can direct you to the right places. He also has plenty of route recommendations.

Maybe in 6 months it'll be a more suitable place for travelers, but for now it's too pricey compared to what you find in town, 2km away.

This is the new place for The Garage, the owner Sam is very much passionate about motorcycles and Land Rovers. We really enjoyed staying with him, we had some problems with 1 of the motorcycles and Sam was a great help. On this new place he's making a campsite with small bar to order food and drinks, there will also be a place to work on the motorcycle if you need to. Camping price 8 usd, there are also dorm rooms and cheap twin rooms available. Free WiFi available.
