Really lovely place! Covered shelter for tents, super clean bathrooms and large well equipped cooking area. One of us had a really nice warm shower but the other was either very hot or very cold. The owner is friendly and has 8 cats, some dogs, lots of chicken and ducks. Highly recommend!

Cleanest bathrooms yet! Mostly for tenters and has a hospedaje, so the cans and campers basically sit in a grassy lot in front. Lovely indoor room with tables and kitchen. Owner’s son played the accordion for us all at dinner time! 8000CP pp. hot showers, electricity available. Quiet setting! Wifi was not working at all though and there is no signal here at all.

This is a a gem of a campsite, part of a spacious farm that is run by a lovely family. They provide everything you can wish for: fantastic hot showers and clean toilets with toilet paper, an excellent tent shelter from the wind and rain, and a common area that really makes you feel at home. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, complete with pots, pans, crockery, cuttlery, dishwashing liquid and other cleaning products, a fridge, massive tables with comfortable benches, wifi (which also reaches the tent shelter), and a fireplace with abundant wood provided by the hosts. They also sell fresh farm eggs :) Cannot recommend it highly enough. Price per person with tent: 6,000 CLP (December 2022).

The best campground we've been to in Chile. You can pitch your tent under roof, cook and relax in aspacious common area wit good wifi and bathe in clean bathroom. They even offered toilet paper unlike many other campsites in Chile. The yard around the owner's house is full of animals. Bought some eggs laid by the chicken running around the house.

Everything working despite the pandemic, only change is that at noon external workers have lunch served by the owner's whole - and very friendly - family; the rest of the day the common sheltered area can be used as normal.

Report Check-In

excellent camp site, very very nice family. there’s a shelter for the tent or a very nice simple room. we paid 24000 pc for a night with shared bedroom. hot shower, all clean.

Report Check-In

As other reviewers have posted, this place is an excellent stopover with attention to detail. The coverings for tents, the community room with cooking facilities, and the hot water even in the laundry sinks (my hands didn't freeze being submerged in icy water to wash some clothes!) all indicate that the owners gave a lot of thought to the comfort of their guests. The yard is small, so not a lot of room to spread out but other guests were considerate at night and in the morning.

Great campsite, a beautiful common room with a fireplace and some kitchen equipment you can use, as well as a small gas stove. Nice shelters for the tents and very clean bathrooms, with hot water! The family who runs the campsite are very friendly and welcoming.
We had a few loud animals throughout the night but this might have been a one-off.
This is definitely a great camping option on your way to Catro Castillo.

Very welcoming family, shelter with soft sandy ground to put tents under if windy or rainy. large quincho but as it was off season they invited me to use the kitchen and stove in their house to cook and dry my gear. Lots of geese, chickens, cats and dogs strolling around but despite this clean and animals friendly, no issues with my food bag being disturbed. I was here on a Saturday night and they were having a party, they insisted on me joining them for wine, beer and asado despite by very limited Spanish. Very friendly and welcoming and a good night! 6000pesos, lovely really hot shower which was needed on a rainy day!

Report Check-In

We stopped here just to take a hot shower for $2000 per person, which was a success. The owner was super nice, let us use the WiFi while we were there. Facilities looked in very good shape. Pet friendly.

As described below. I came to break the journey to Coyhaique. I am the only person here in my camper so all the space. Nice flat space, great communal seating , kitchen, and bathroom building. Has a huge fireplace but I didn't want to bother them with lighting it. Melania was super keen to make me comfortable. The kitchen has gas, and lots of utensils. Big, electric water heater that she put on especially. I'm sure the shower will be great. 5000clp for me and camper. Dogs, ducks, and chickens around. Recommend due to hospitality.
