Arrived and was told place is closed. New place is called Jinja Basecamp. Did not try to find it, but it is on google maps
Report Check-InBackpackers at the source of the nile. Dorms $10usd Camp $5usd 2kms walk from the minibus stop. Australian owned. Place looks very nice and tidy. Big toilets with warm water. Plenty of friendly staff, but incredible useless, but if you already spent some time in africa this is normal, to be fair with them.
Dorms looks very nice, but if you are camping like me. Location for the camp is sad. Grassy flat land but next to the carpark. Carpark is shared with The Bourbon Bar, nice bar at the shore of the nile. Problem is you will listen cars coming and going the whole night. And the rusty gate will make enough noise to make your dreams a nightmare.
Option 1, move the camping area to the front or 2, party the whole night.
Food is ok but overpriced compared of the one in town.
Wifi is slow, and disconnect a lot.
Conclusion a nice place, that needs the little extra to make it awesome mate.
