Description
Nice state park with a lake, $23 for out of staters. They will tell you a thousand times no alcohol/pets to where it gets annoying. Electric hook ups, dump station and hot showers. Lots of wild life, nice place to relax and recharge your batteries.

Report Check-InVery affordable, with neat and large sites. Very clean shower house and restrooms that are a short walk on a sidewalk no matter where you are parked. Electric and water comes with every site. I can not imagine a size limit for any RV. And vans and tents will not feel cramped by anyone camping next to them. It’s actually nice not hearing dogs barking for a change but a few planes overhead do break the quiet now and then. As others mentioned they really threaten you about the pets and booze policy. Guess they must have had issues in the past since this is basically an urban campground only a few miles from anything you could possibly need.

Report Check-InBig campground with 54 sites and additional family campground and group campground. Each side comes with picnic table, BBQ, fireplace, water and Power. The washrooms and showers are very spacious and clean. They also have a dumpstation. Pets and alcohol are not permitted at the campground. When you come, you get 4 papers of restrictions :-(.
Make sure, that you come early at the first day. There is a gate that close at the same time like the Park. Summer opening from 8am til 8pm, Winter opening from 8am til 6pm. The only sad thing here, is the airport nearby. You are in 20 minutes at the airport. Do you hear all the time the planes starting at landing. But usually I had a quiet night.
if you want, you can also hike a lot of trails. Walmart and Publix are 15 minutes away.
