This place is right next to the road. At night there is no traffic, but until 9 pm there were cars every 10-15 minutes. In the morning, traffic started at around 8.30. If you want a bit more privacy, head down the hill towards the beginning of the grass field. From there, an ancient track (4wd/high clearance only) runs up the hill and around the trees: beautiful views and no traffic nearby!
Report Check-InPerfect quit place, one side of the road has trees and no fence. If you go a little bit further there is a flat grassy field outside of the view of the road. Very quit and wind protection between the trees
Report Check-InCyclists, if you continue away from the road to the second patch of trees, there are many perfect places for a tent and you are better hidden from the road. I spent a very quiet night here and loved it.
Report Check-InOne of the only places to stay on this road. reasonable wind protection in the trees. somewhat visible from the road but very quiet. no problem in a 4x4 to cross the small ditch.
Report Check-InStayed the night here with our big rig. You have to drive over quite a big ditch but was doable with our truck.
Had a nice walk into deserted valley with guanaco’s. Very quiet night.
