we were told by the nice ladies in the tourist Office that the Museum itself will be closed until March 2024. you can have a look at some sculptures and Photos in the backyard.

at the end of January 2023 only adults pay 3000 Chilean pesos per person, only in cash. this gives you access to 2 museums in porvenir. the museum closes at 5 p.m.

Three floors of info. Start all the way up. Basic info on history of settlement, genocide and some stuffed animals.
The p3,000 fee also included a small museum and historical church across the plaza. Follow the penguin feet on the sidewalk. Keep your ticket to give at the other place.

Really nice small museum. Cost is now 3.000 pesos per person. You can also seek here tourists informations and maps of the city and the region

Very interesting little museum about the culture of Selk’nam (indigenous people exterminated by the white men), the colonization and animals of the island. There is WC, WiFi... worth the 1000$

Museum and info touristic of the area.
Museum entrance is 1000 pp. We didn't visit.
Info touristic, the guy was nice but not so helpful.
There is WC and free wifi (Chile gov or local).
