10 US por vehículo.

Report Check-In

Car park of a hostel, very loud bassy music from next door at all hours of the day on a Thursday. We asked them to turn it down and they refused, the guy looked high. The bathroom was v dirty and had no sink. They charge 10$ pp but we left and stayed at Lo de Fausto instead.

Report Check-In

Ok place to stay nothing fancy but close to all things you want to see in Baño.

Report Check-In

We stayed 9 nights because our electrical system went down. $10/night. Not a fancy place, but it’s serviceable for seeing the town of Baños. There is a toilet and shower with very hot water. The shower is open from shoulder height, so you’ll be able to add to your list of interesting showers in Latin America. There’s a sink for dishes and other water needs. No dog poop like the August review talked about. Segundo is the camp host and he was kind to us. He let us keep our food in his fridge when our power went down and he ran an electrical cord out to us. Friday and Saturday night can be loud from nearby places, so visit during the week if you want a quieter stay. Highly recommend Termas de la Virgen right down the road. For food, Pancho Villa. Baking Partners for bread.

Small backyard, mostly gravel, narrow entry, hight clearance is 3,60 m, not 4 m! room for 2 or max 3 camper vans. Toilet, water available, didn’t use it.

We came here after a few days at Casa Giralda so we could be closer to town. Location is great but the pros stop there. Overgrown grass full of dog poop, mud, and construction equipment. Definitely not kid friendly or safe. The bathroom has almost no privacy, toilet never really flushed, and the shower is just barely warm. Monday-Thursday you’ll have the typical construction crew working. Weekend the hotel will fill up with partiers and your wifi will slow down considerably. If you have more than two people save your money for a hotel room with parking like Hotel Gala if your rig is kind of small.

Report Check-In

It was ok, it does have a toilet and a shower, apparently with hot water, but we didn't try. There are 2 massive holes for future windows in the bathroom, one in front of the shower and the other above the toilet.
The grass is clean albeit unusually long as in almost a foot long in certain spots.
Humberto is a nice person but him and his friends did make a lot of noise while playing dominoes in one of the rooms.
Humberto seems to only be reachable by calling him on his what's app, number down in the comments, otherwise you can wait forever. We waited in the restaurant Carpe Diem next door (different ownership) which had amazing pizza. After about 1h we got in touch with him and he opened up the gates for us.
Any car can enter, up to about 4m. 10 bucks for the car for the night.

Hot outdoorish showers, good wifi, flat level grass and secure parking close to town. The bathroom doesn’t have sinks yet. The hotel/restaurant isn’t running at the moment so we had 4 nights to ourselves. Enter from montavalo street.

$10USD per night for the vehicle. Great location to both the termal pools and the city center. Nice grassy spot with plenty of room to set up your cooking equipment and chairs. Clean bathroom and hot showers (it takes a couple of minutes for the water to get hot once the pump is on). The bathroom is semi open meaning you'll be able to see the mountains while you're showering which I thought was nice. Great WiFi. Secured at night so you have privacy. For us, it was the perfect spot in Baños to spend 3 nights. Markets, grocery stores, everything nearby. Friendly owners and staff. If they don't answer the bell when you come by, just push the front door back and it will open for you to come in and park. They don't mind at all. We recommend it!

Report Check-In

Great spot in Baños. Hoping this updates the location to help people find it. Hot showers, close to town and thermals. Humberto will take care of you! Highly recommend!

Report Check-In

We stayed here for 3 nights, is very nice. Sr Humberto is very friendly! The restaurant is very good!

Report Check-In

+ close to center
+ hot shower
+ grassy area for parking

- no sink, no windows and no light in the little bathroom (if the parking lot is crowded, people may be able to look inside)

-on the weekends it gets crowded

- no hang out area or kitchen

10$ per vehicle

Important: we had difficulties finding the place (with both maps.me and google) - the entrance is from montalvo street and not Pasejo Novillo

Nice campground in Banos! The place is quiet and close to city center, thermals. All staffs are really friendly and helpful. Best place for overlanders jn Banos.

Report Check-In

Great location! Toilet still misses a sink, but the hot shower is really good. Humberto is slowly improving things over here, but for us Overlanders, the only thing missing is the sink, really. Asked for 10. Ended up lowering to 5. One person.

Great location! Humberto is really friendly and helpful. The toilet still doesn’t have a sink, but the hot shower is great.

Humberto Rojano (mobile/Whatsapp: +593979356150) is a nice (english and spanish speaking) guy, he loves to receive overlanders. Ring the bell on the gate to check if Humberto is there. If he’s not there and the gate is shut upon your arrival, you may open it yourself and drive in (Humberto told me to write this into the comments here). Watch the ceiling and the corners while driving in.
The place offers all facilities except for cooking and washing dishes. Humberto promised to install a sink in the toillet/shower as soon as possible. There‘s 110V and 220V electricity. You need a US-adaptor in order to connect to the 220V plug. We thought it was by far the most convenient place to stay in baños with a RV, the center close by within walking distance. $10 for our family of 5.

Close to the Center and very Close to the hot Springs. Toilets are in the Restaurant, unfortunately there are no showers.

Report Check-In

Umberto is friendly and enthusiastic about over landing. He lived in the USA for several years and has excellent English. Great location for exploring Banos. The wifi signal was strong in the grassy parking area and the shower building (and toilet, not sure) is almost done. Currently you can use the toilet all day and night in the hotel.

Report Check-In

Nice and calm place. We only stayed for a night. The showers are not ready jet. A bit pricey with 10$ for current situation, but once they sort out the amenities it's going to be really nice.

Report Check-In

Good location for this busy little town. Humberto doesn't have showers yet, but he was building them while we were there (see the dirt pile near the red truck). No matter, because one block away are the thermal pools for $2 with access to the pools and never ending hot showers. We were here with 5 other overlanders and it still didn't seem crowded. Has 4 bathrooms in the restaurant to use, and a conference/party big room next to the restaurant where yoga and surf board repairs were no problem. Lovely restaurant too, and secured gate. Humberto and Tatiana are great hosts, helped arrange transport, and even accompanied a fellow overlander to the doctor in the early morning hours.

Report Check-In

Adding photos. GPS location has been corrected. $10/per night, we were a family of four with a camper van. Can’t beat the price, location or the hospitality. Thanks Humberto.

We struggled to find this place as the coordinates and name were incorrectly entered. We have updated them. Humberto is very welcoming and is eager to have travellers. They are currently working on building the bathrooms and shower.

Report Check-In

This was a really great welcome from Humberto. He is the owner and helped us a lot to find a tailler for our car. The room we stayed in(while our van was in the garage) was super, clean, excellent bathroom. The grassy garden where you can park your van and camp in it is nice and lots of flowers, gate closed during night, absolutely secure. The breakfast is also very nice. Good menu in the restaurant. Highly recommendable. Is right now in the process of building toilets and showers outside for camping. Will sure be very nice and good.
