2 mostly level truck spots, view of whites and sierras. Great spot, secluded. Foot trails around

Spent 4 nights. Other cars etc constantly using this camp spot as a turn around area right into the late hours - felt at times like i was at a Loves travel stop..... Needs to be signposted as a dead end so people dont take the wrong fork. Had one guy park next to me for a 4 hour nap, and another guy bring his kids and dogs to run around next to my rig for 30 mins. There are sooooo many day use areas to park in, so why invade a clearly sign posted designated camp spot? Beautiful nevertheless and was beautiful at night.
Report Check-InSpent two nights here. Quiet and beautiful! You will be more comfortable with leveling tracks.
No need for 4x4.
No Verizon signal.
Absolutely loved this place, free camping with incredible scenery, was a fair amount of others around, but very peaceful at night.
Report Check-InIncredibly beautiful! We arrived around 3:30pm on a Tuesday. Other vehicles were dotted around the perimeter. Our nearest neighbor was 1/4 mike away. We enjoyed a lovely sundowner. And fired up our grill. The winds picked up as we ate during sunset. Hopefully they will die down a bit.
Report Check-InArrived right before sunset but there were plenty of available spots. We lost Verizon cell service once we hit the dirt (sand) road. Amazing camp spots among the rocks. Hardest part is choosing one. Overall the roads were ok, some big dips that wouldn’t work for longer wheelbases. Very windy the night we stayed so maybe want to hide amongst the rocks. Some fire pits.
Report Check-InView is absolutely unreal. Will be back. Quiet. Can get pretty windy
Report Check-InTruly beautiful area with all the eroded granite boulders. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and there were a few cars touring the area. In the evening it becomes absolutely quiet, we spoted just one other camper far away. We chose the spot at 36.605843, -118.116815 because there is shade from a boulder.
