We spent the night here so we could visit in the morning. Dogs were no issue for us or our dogs. Farmer never approached. We did check in with the office. And gave them some cookies in the morning.
Report Check-InWe drove into the large parking lot next to the entrance of the 'Paredón de los manos' in the afternoon (15 min walk). The museum was closed but gate was open. In the evening the friendly farmer came out together with his dogs. We asked if we could camp in the parking lot, he said no problem because he enjoys meeting foreigners, we even drank a beer together in the parking lot and talked a bit. No wind during the night.
Report Check-InFriendly farmer and many dogs 4+ very very very windy couldn’t sleep in the rooftop tent. Exposed and there’s nowhere much to hide
Report Check-Ingreat spot, we came at night, road although gravel is in good conditions, exposed to wind (recommended for campervans and so), there's also a big garbage container. we expect to spend s good night here, local dogs are but loud atm but I'm sure they'll get bored soon!
Report Check-InOne guy show up and ask us 2000p for the van to stay the night here saying he is the "dueno". The black gate was close so we were outside the actual museum parking. The guy was nice but we did not liked it to pay for a parking... No choice the night was already there.

Report Check-InBeautiful quiet spot just out of town and at the entrance of the painted hands, which we hadn't heard of before but happy to have discovered this unique historic site and having dinner with Cerro Castillo in the last sunlight in the background is just incredible.
