Very quiet and peaceful location. You camp next to the cows. Hot shower and clean toilet. A very good outdoor kitchen!

Report Check-In

Beautiful place, friendly dogs and a few cows surrounding the area. Close to the entrance of Cotopaxi by car. Very clean and the owners are very friendly. $5/person. VERY HOT showers and not the shower head of death. Very limited on cooking equipment but if you bring your own it's no problem. Pila to hand wash laundry and strung clothes line to hang clothes. They will wash your laundry for $7/loads but it has to be a FULL load. No dryer. Electricity in the kitchen and the bathroom facilities are well maintained. We loved our stay and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Report Check-In

Very friendly hosts (and dogs). After a short walk you can have a splendid view of Cotopaxi, especially in the evening sun. If you need electricity, the connection is at the baños building within few meters of the campervan. 5$ pppn.

Report Check-In

Wonderful place to rest close to Cotopaxi. Clean bathrooms, hot shower with excellent water pressure, kitchen, large parking and camping area. We paid $5 p.p. and spent two nights here.

Lugar espetacular pra descansar pertinho do Cotopaxi. Banheiros limpos, chuveiro quente com excelente pressão de água, cozinha, ampla área de estacionamento e acampamento. Pagamos $5 p.p e passamos duas noites aqui.

Lovely spot next to Cotopaxi National Park. They have a nice walking trail, ask for directions. We took their lovely dogs for a walk. Very quiet place, clean bathrooms and instant hot water showers. Paid $5pp.

We've been here for a few days feeling at home. Clean and pleasant place with spectacular service. At the entrance to Cotopaxi National Park. extremely recommended.

Report Check-In

Nice and quiet place, 10min from the entrance to the cotopaxi park. Hot shower space for big rigs.

Report Check-In

Place offers what has been described, so it's a very good option ($5/person) but in my opinión, the Panam. Highway is too close, so it can be too noisy.

Report Check-In

This is one of the nicer places I’ve stayed as I’ve headed south.

Spotless bathrooms and the shower has “very” hot water. Great water pressure. Tankless propane heater. Really nice, long hot shower. There is a covered kitchen with gas range and oven. BBQ grill and they provided charcoal. Sink with running water to do dishes. Tons of firewood. Parked on grass so no mud when it was raining. Bug free. Twos friendly dogs around that got along nicely with Dixie. Quiet day and night.

The “only” ding on the review is the Wi-Fi. As others have mentioned it doesn’t reach the covered kitchen. There are 4 bars of 3g claro service which was good enough for me.

I’d definitely stay here again.

Paid $5. A bargain….

Arrived here Today and felt very welcome. Camping behind the house with own facilities. Clean and warm shower as well as bathroom. Outdoor kitchen available and several fireplaces to have a campfire or cook.
Wlan available at the edge of the campsite with average speed of about 10Mbit.
Bonus are the super adorable dogs!!

Report Check-In

Slept here for the night for 5$ per person. Could use their firewood to make a campfire. Shower was not cold (and not too warm unfortunately).

We'd like to add that this is a hostel/hotel too. Paid 25$ p.p for very nice rooms including breakfast. They offer a dinner menu for 7$. Very friendly and helpful in any way.

Report Check-In

Nice quait place, lavanderia, slow internet, view to volcano

Report Check-In

Beautiful hacienda. Friendly owners. Be sure to go in the lobby. The location is just off the Pan-Am highway on the way to Cotopaxi NP. You will not hear the traffic. $7.50ppn. Very clean washrooms with hot showers. Wifi is a bit iffy. OK in lobby. We had a little difficulty levelling up in the field in the back but it was worth it for the peace and quiet. Much warmer than the NP. Easy bus ride to Latacunga.

Report Check-In

Nice campsite with all of the accommodation.
. Hot water
. Nice wifi in the house
. Really sympatic staff
. Paid 5$/pp/pn

Report Check-In

A very nice spot. You can still hear the road but at night it's quiet. $5 pp without electricity. Nice people - kept the firing going inside while we were reading. Very hot shower.

Report Check-In

Nice Hacienda to camp in a grassy area to left or right of the main building, clean bathrooms, slow WiFi, weather permitting view of Cotopaxi when walking to the far end of the upper grassy area along the wall (otherwise view blocked by tall trees), just off Panam highway and close to NP, 7.50$ per night

Report Check-In

Stayed here again another night. This time they let us park out front. Much more level and closer to wifi signal. Strong enough to stream, but only 3 of us here. Bathrooms still clean, seats, hot showers, no TP.
Easy access to Cotopaxi entrance. $7.50/ person includes access to electricity with extension. No height restriction.

Report Check-In

We stayed here one night, before entering Cotopaxi park. The view was mostly blocked by clouds and the tall trees at the back of the property. Showers and bathrooms we're clean. There is a kitchen covered area. We were told to park out back. The area is not very level. The parking in front is much more level.
Good secure area, quiet at night, and really everything you need.

Report Check-In

Great place to spend a relaxing day or to reorganize all your stuff. We did a housekeeping day here. The hot water from the bathroom was helpful! The covered kitchen is great and the showers are nice and hot. They provide also laundry service for the same day for 7$ per load. WIFI works only in the main house. The view to Cotopaxi in the evening is awesome. We payed 15$ for camping.

Report Check-In

The place is open, all good beside the internet which is not working at all, for $7.50 pp it's way too expensive.

Report Check-In

The Hosteria Hacienda was closed. No people, no dogs, no cars and a big chain on the entrance. No information if is permanent or temporary
closed.

Report Check-In

Sadly we must make our first disappointed comment about this place. We stayed with 3 people and paid $ 21 which is already quite a lot for what they offer.
On the positive side: Bathroams are clean and hot.
On the other side: Kitchen has no wind protection and its getting cold quickly.

And: Internet was quite crucial for us and it didn't worked on the second day. I don't know why they switched it off. The told us there was no electricity. But that's not true, because every light was working. It sounded like a lame excuse for us.

We kindly asked for a discount because of that but they just didn't care. Actually they were quite unfriendly as we asked about that...

We think this place is overpriced for what they offer. If you want to visit Cotopaxi, stay at the ranger station.

For the record: The owners were very friendly as we met the first day. The unfriendly person was probably some of their stuff personal..

Report Check-In

clean hot showers, clean outside kitchen with oven, good wifi. Otherwise it is a grasy field. Still 7,50$ seems a bit overpriced. They also have rooms for 22,50$ pp - we didn't bother to check them.

Report Check-In

As described, separate camper area with hot showers, cooking facility, and you can use the inside fireplace area for relaxing. loved our time there but would warn that prices for meals in the hosteria are $7-8 for simple type meals found in town for $2, and a bottle of wine is $25.

Report Check-In

7.50pp no budging. Shower mostly hot. Wifi reached car but was dodgy if tried to use two devices ar same time. They have a camp kitchen with sink and oven undercover. The camping area is in a paddock so there was a bit of cow poo around. We decided to stay because we thought the lady said we could use the laundry for free (have washer and dryer).. however when we left this morning she chased us down the road in her car and insisted we pay $7 for using laundry. i guess a miscommunication but made for an expensive night camping. If we didnt have to do the washing we would have free camped.

Report Check-In

Very nice place and super friendly owners! Lot of dogs that received very well to our puppy. Excellent internet connection. Easy entrance and a lot of space for big rigs. 7,5 pp per night

Report Check-In

$7.50 pp, the owner didn't care for w&wo electricity the price is set. WiFi is extended now yo the camping area I could use it from inside my van. Shower 3 seconds scolding hot then cold, back and forth, a bit ofjumping exercise. The ladies shower works good.

Report Check-In

Bathrooms at campsite not very clean, but useable. Maybe because of the construction next to it: they are building a kitchen for campers.

Report Check-In

5 per person without electricity. Nice bathrooms, excellent hot shower, good internet inside the hosteria, not in the camping area. Very nice people.

Report Check-In

still a good place to stay. nice and friendly people. alicia, the owner is very helpful. nice clean bathroom. fast internet. you can do a wash: one wash, one dryer cost $ 6.50. with electricity $ 7.50, without $ 5.00 per person.

Report Check-In

Nice n quiet campsite with all facilities. These guys have it worked out good. Showers one of the best in days lots of hot water. Open grassy space to park with open vista. Electricity form the plug next to toilets. Wifi in building only. We kept our shoes inside :-)

Report Check-In

The bloody dogs steal door-mats as well as crocks. Do the next campers a favour - Take plenty of rocks in with you and teach them to stay well away.

$7.50 per person.

I picked up wifi (200MB/sec) from near the toilets using external antenna/amplifier

Report Check-In

Change their prices at 7.5 $ per person. We bargained it at 5 without electricity.
