Now called Oasis camping. Fantastic overland camp to prepare/recover from Iona. Mwana is running the place and wants to improve the tired facilities for Overlanders. She and her uncle Luis are SO helpful. Speaks fluent English and Portuguese. Bar and restaurant on beach are great. Also space for big rigs.

Great location directely at the beach just 5 km south of Mocamedes, currently under change of management. Once finished, what the new manger Carlos started here, this place will be a stunning beach lounge bar restaurant and camp.
Currently there are about 15 beautiful wood cabins and about 20 camp spots. The estimated reopening will be 1 of march 24. Pricing will be very reasonable. Carlos is a very friendly and helpful guy

Camping on Oct. 5th was closed due to facilities renovation. The fiublre toom is now 33'000! not reslly competitive. If you like to camp and need only toilettes... 33'000! At least for us. We didn't stay.

the cost is 3000 Kwanza pppn for camping, the campsite is totally neglected, out if two bathrooms only one has water, no hot water, good electricity in the braai area. Got bogged down in we as 4x4 in the parking lot. restaurant great atmosphere and unique.

Lovely spot on the beach with great food, a bonfire and music.
Camping run down, with cold showers. Had electricity. 6000Kwanzas per night for 2 people.

A place of contrast. The bar and restaurant is really cool. The location is great. The staff is friendly. The campground is a disaster. No maintenance or clean at all. Only cold water. Lots of garbage and a hole in the ground with food waste attracting birds and flies.
Security guard is not looking after the campground. Manager insisted on 3000 per tent. I paid this the first night. Next night I paid 2500. Refused to pay more because of the conditions.
However I still enjoyed my time here and would come back. Not many places to choose from here.

The chalets are 30.000 kwanza per night not 15.000 as stated by someone else here.
The place is also on Airbnb, but please note that none of the staff or manager knows what Airbnb is and the posting there was made in 2012, so the prices there are completely outdated.

Beautiful place facing the waves of the ocean. Modest camping area with direct exit to the beach. Dirty toilets and shower. Electricity available. 3000 kw, 7 euro for 2 People and camping car. Ask Eliseo, the owner. Beautiful terrace and restaurante on the beach

paid 2000kwz per person for camping (rooftop tent) clean water and disgusting toilets available on site. The restaurant is not bad but expensive ( >10k kwz per meal) beer is cheap though.

Renovations still haven’t commenced for the camping. Paid kz 2000 per night for the two of us. Nice clean beach and beautiful bar/restaurant next to it. Perfect for doing day trips south or exploring Namibe

Very nice place with a beautiful bar on the beach. New owner (Eliseo) that is renovating all the lodge. the campsite at this moment was very run down and dirty but the owner told us that at the end of February will be better. price will be 3000 Kwanzas but we paid 1.500 for the both of us for the conditions. The food of the restaurant is very good!

This place's redeeming feature is the beachfront bar. Stunning. Everything else is very tired.
1500pppn.
Showers were not working and we were given a round of drinks by way of compensation (a tap was not turned on).

incredible ambience , you feel at home very soon . Seaside chalets 15000 k , take 2 people , fridge , shower, telly. Great people , very friendly.

It’s really the only place you can camp in Namibe. We were charged 2000 pp and had to ask for the toilets and showers to be cleaned. Nice beach and bar! Power at sites. We stopped at the fish market on the way here and had an beautiful and inexpensive braai!

We liked this place. Great for a beach break from the car. Facilities is run down in camp site and it's sandy. Beach is great with bar on the beach. We stayed 2 days and had a good time. Tony the manager is very helpful. He speaks good English. Bungalows are K 15000 too K18000. Camping is K2000 per site. Well worth it.

Nothing special and it's a little bit run down. There are a lot of wild camp spots around this place on the coast which are more beautiful. We didn't stay here but went to a wildcamp spot were we could spent the night for free and had a better view.

Great camping spot on the beach. Nice location, away from the hussle of town. Fascilities slightly tired so don't come with high expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised. Camping Kwz1500ppn. Also Has chalets on the beach (Kwz1500)
Simple restaurant and bar on the beach. Restaurant menu starts at Kwz2000 to Kwz6000. Breakfast for Kwz2000.
