Beautiful spot, drive in from Chile Chico side was lovely. Fine with 2wd, kept left at last fork. Also very windy, planted tent behind dog rose bush and car and rattled
all night. Not a soul in sight. Camped beside blue weather station, don't think you would risk taking anything further as
very sandy but lots of space.

Não vá pela estrada de terra. Na bifurcação final vá pelo caminho da esquerda. Quase atolamos, mas conseguimos sair e voltar pelo caminho do lado. o lugar é incrível! passamos uma noite com ventos de 70km/hr mas com o carro bem posicionado foi uma ótima noite! O nascer do sol é surreal! Imperdível!

Do not take the dirt road. At the final fork, take the left path. We almost got stuck, but managed to get out and go back along the side path. the place is amazing! we spent a night with winds of 70km/hr but with the car well positioned it was a great night! Sunrise is surreal! Unmissable!

This is one of our favorite spots we’ve camped at so far! We were the only people on the beach and had the most wonderful sunny day. Incredible 360° views of various mountains in all directions, lake access, and a quiet, beautiful night. The lake is stunningly beautiful, crystal clear and very calm in this spot. We didn’t have wind, though I’m sure if the wind is blowing from the east this spot would be fairly exposed. Almost no trash, though there was some broken glass so so be careful.

You can definitely get here with 2 wheel drive, just don’t stop in the sandy part of the road right before arriving to the campsite. Amazing spot!

Sola en el lugar. Muy tranquilo. Me tocó una noche con poco viento, de todas formas puse la carpa detrás de un árbol. imagino que con más viento es un poco expuesto para las carpas.
Hermosa vista al lago y las montañas. Muy silencioso.

Great place to sleep on the beach. Big storm and wind during the night but is fine with a car.

beautiful place, quite windy but there's a bit of shelter because of the small dunes. don't take the sandy road, we got stuck, there's a good road right next to it to the beach. caught some fish, met some locals with tractors to pull us out..

Beatyfull place to camp! we were the only one here and the wind was steong but at this place not so heavy. no 4x4 needed. we have 2wd and were totally fine. in the morning the horses came to say hello.

Definitely no 4x4 needed. Just don't stop in the short sand part of the road and you wilk be fine. Beautiful spot with nobody around all day

Spot very protected from the wind. you can go to the beach by walk (2min) and enjoy the beautiful view on the lake and mountains.
the neighbors are very friendly, the offered us so
many fruits and home made marmelad.
the road is not so good so wouldn't recommend the spot without 4x4.

One of the best spots in Patagonia. Huge grass area or clean beach for tents and every size of overland vehicles. No need for 4x4 if you drive little faster on sandy part of the road, it is only few meters and not very soft. One good spot covered by trees (before the meteorology station) has very good wind protection for tents. Many wild rabbits around. Amazing view. You will find a huge grass area and some trees if you walk fifty metres to West from meteorology station.

Ciclyst - Great place to spend the day and the night. Some locals passed by to fish, but where ok with campers.
We did had to help some guys to take the van out of the sand, so I wouldn't recommend to go over the sandy road if your vehicle is not 4x4.
It got very windy at night.

if you are afraid of the sandy track, there is a second way just beside of the other. no problems for our 2x4 sprinter. alone in natur in may. 3g internet reception, no wifi!

Camping on the beach. Quite remote and wild and a sandy track to get there. Very windy.
