Something not right?

Description

The spot is on the west shore of the creek and reached via a short narrow track. Twowheeler can get a bit further where there are some more grassy and level spots. There is room for a few smaller vehicles. Quite well protected from wind and sight. Nice fireplace available.

Latest Check-Ins

We couldn’t stay there because it is a bit sandy and we were afraid to get stuck. We drove on but later regretted our decision!! It is the last place that offers some wind protection. After that it is very windy and there are no good sleeping spots! If you have a rooftop tent or something like that, you will not be able to put it up. We had to drive on for 2-3 hours (slow 2wd Car) to find a spot (near the next village) but even there it was very windy. Also: The road is very shitty. Wouldn’t recommend driving at night like we did.

You can for sure camp here, however the wind is strong (kept us awake most of the night). Place by the river, no guanaco, no birds...
Not a lot of choice with wind protection

Report Check-In

We only stopped to have lunch here but can imagine spending a night. Rocks and high bushes can provide limited wind protection. It is right next to the river, which is always a bonus. No signal.

Nice camp somewhat out of sight of the road. Quite a small area so room for two cars maximum. More protected than other spots but still quite windy when we were there (just something for other rooftop tent owners to keep in mind). Gorgeous sunrise over the mountains in the morning.

Report Check-In

Nice place, good windshelter, firepit, also flat grassy spots for tents
