There is a height restriction sign at the beginning of the descent towards the camp 2.5 m. But there is no problem because it is about the bridge that is after the entrance to the camp.

Report Check-In

Great place for a rest day, heaps of shade. WiFi doesn’t reach the whole site but is reasonable. Don’t be put off by the hill into town, it’s not so bad when you’re waking and it’s not far to the center

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Definitely open once you work out to ring the bell att the left hand side of thee gate to be let in! (Ring the bell at the house to get out).At the bottom of a very steep hill, a beautifully kept green oasis. Clean, tidy, grassy orchard area for tents and hard standing for trucks. Hot water was a bit erratic for me but worked once I found it! 9000 each (loo paper provided!), would highly recommend.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

Don’t look any further best camping here clean facilities very nice owner and good wifi

Attempted to stay the night. Sign saying closed when we got there. Disappointing as previous post says open all year. There was another van here trying to stay when we arrived as well, so definitely not closed due to lack of interest.

Report Check-In

This is clearly the place to be! It’s extremely popular and for good reason. The facilities here are excellent. Come early to see about a spot as it can get quite crowded! There is space for big rigs.

Report Check-In

It is a good place and we would stay again if we had to. 8000pp and 2000 if you use electricity for your camper. The shower water isn’t hot but it’s warm enough to not feel uncomfortable. The heater is kept at 39 degrees. Also, there isn’t a stove to cook on and they don’t allow wood fires (only coal). There’s sort of a lot of rules but the facilities are clean and the staff is friendly. WIFI is ok.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Great camping. One of the best of the region. Many amenities with a good wifi, good hot showers and clean bathrooms. We came with a camper. There are now closed for the low season. We were the last guests.

Report Check-In

Great camping! 6000 pp and 2000 more for electricity. (Electricity not at sites, but if you park in the right spot you can reach the extension cord at the side of the shower building.) Decent Entel reception, poor Movistar.

Report Check-In

Great camping! quite big, suitable for vans and some motorhomes, WiFi is good, common sheltered area for eating, hot showers.

Report Check-In

city camping, nice and hot shower, crowded but quiet

Report Check-In

Nice campsite but full (for tents), still space for van campers. Still 5000pp, even though wifi is currently broken (Jorge is trying to run a hotspot for the whole site off his phone which is a nice idea but not really working!). Showers very hot but there are always queues and not always clean- it depends who was in before you I guess...

Report Check-In

Busy campsite. A lot of tents, campers and cars.
We paid 5000 pp with car.
Nice and warm community room.
Showers are hot and clean, but........they only run from 7 - 11 and 19 - 23 hours.
Short walk to city centre.

Report Check-In

Simple town campsite, with facilities you are looking for.
Not many spots for overlanders, so it is pretty cramped in high season.

Wifi is average, abulution blocks are clean but not many for the amount of people that can camp.
Closeby the city centre which is on walking distance.

We stayed here 2 days.

Report Check-In

Facilities are good. Camping is quite big with lots of people.

Report Check-In

Good camping, friendly owner, lots of travelers passing through, good warm showers, lot of space for tents and all size of campers, good WiFi but no kitchen though. 5000 p/p for camping.

Report Check-In

Good camping with warm living space. Clean bathrooms. Place for washing dishes and clothes.

Report Check-In

One of the best maintained Campings we have been so far. Thank you Jorge!!

Report Check-In

Very nice place! The owner is friendly and helpful. Hot showers, large common area and lots of charging opportunities and fast WiFi. And this for a reasonable price; 5.000CLP per person (and 2.000CLP for a motorhome). Definitely recommend this place!

Report Check-In

Belo local, organizado, banheiro limpo, agua quente, frequentadores de todos os locais do mundo!!! perto do mercado unimarc. recomendo o local

Report Check-In

Really great camping. Very friendly owner, clean facilities, amazing hot shower and excellent wifi. Can imagine it gets really crowded in high season.

Report Check-In

Nice campground with very clean bathrooms - they were cleaned nearly after every shower. Hot showers from 07:00 to 11:00 and from 19:00 to 23:00. wifi not as good as expected... was not possible to upload any fotos:-( very close to the city!

Report Check-In

This is a really nice clean camping. There was a sign on the gate that it was full, but we asked and it appeared not to be full. Hot showers between specific hours the gas for the hot water is opened. Walking distance of the city and river. We stayed 2 nights with a rooptoptent.

Report Check-In

2nd time on tihis Camping. This time the place was crowded. But toilets and showers were perfect clean. Owner and staff very friendly. The first time we really recommend a Camping in South America!!

Report Check-In

If you sleep in (or on) your vehicle don’t be put off by the camp full sign as there is room for quite a few rigs on a gravel area at the side they don’t let tents on. We sat outside the gate looking for another site when it opened and although the tent area was pretty full there was plenty of room for a few more trucks. Also well protected from the wind which was howling in Coyhaique.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Very nice camping. In high season it’s very popular. We arrived at 4pm and at 4:30pm the camping was full. Fast wifi, nice hot showers with enough space to put/hang your clothes. Big communal inside area where you can cook (with your own equipment). We paid 10.000 pesos for two people and a small campervan. On the other side of the bridge is a nice microbrewery.

Report Check-In

Very amazing place, grassy area for tents, place for 3-4 Motorhomes, electricity, very clean and hot showers, water potable, very fast WiFi. The owners, young people, are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Report Check-In

Nice camping with a shelter (electricity inside but no kitchen) / 5k pp / hot showers / extremly fast wifi / very nice staff and owner / extra clean bathroom ! Nice spot to stay one or two night. Bit far away from town with a huge up hill to access the center

Report Check-In

campground quiet on our day.
common room.
shower hot.
5000 pesos per pax

Report Check-In

This place is awesome. It's clean, hot showers, dry area, chairs and tables around, lovely sites for tents in what looks like an old orchard with fruit trees around. The owner is so helpful and kind. 5/5.

Report Check-In

Very good camping. Everything you need. Super friendly owner. Toilets and showers cleaned several times a day.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice camping area, very nice owner. Tries his best to make you feel comfortabel. Clean clean bathrooms with hot water. Paid 5000 pp.

Report Check-In

5pp clean toilets, very hot shower and good... but wifi is amazing! 25 download, 20 upload... monster to work! 20 GB uploaded in less than 4 hours...

Report Check-In

A fine spot. Pretty busy even in the shoulder season. Everything worked well and everyone was nice. Except for one of the dogs who destroyed one of my socks.

Report Check-In

Excellent everything. Hot showers, really good WiFi, great shelter, clean, walking distance from the center. Local brewery 300 meters away. Highly recommended! Only downside: be careful not to step in dog poop. Cost 5.000 pp.

Report Check-In

As described. I was the only rig so got a flat spot in the gravel lot. Big shower rooms, and hot water. 2 sinks for washing up in. Big common room with big smart TV with Netflix etc. Superfast WiFi. It was unheated when u was there but I think that's because jorge was closing up for the season on the day I left.

Report Check-In

We didn't camp there because we didn't need and it was full. We paid 2000pp for shower. Very nice guy.

Report Check-In

Hot showers, decent wifi but very very very crowded with young travelers. 5k pp Too noisy IMO but GF is love with all the cats roaming around so were staying.

Report Check-In

We can confirm below comments: good location, wind shelter, well maintained and clean facilities, however very few toilets/ showers for many people (high season).

Report Check-In

very nice campsite. maybe not enough showers and toilets but owner very friendly and working hard to upgrade. very nice refugee, good wifi. many people but very quiet at night.

Report Check-In

Little bit crowded during weekend. No enough power plugs for everybody. Near the city. If you came all the way down to the camping by bicycle you will probably want to stay for the night!

Report Check-In

Excellent campsite just a 10min walk from Coyhaique centre. Near the river (but can’t access from the campsite). We arrived on a weekend and it was busy but during the week it seems less packed and chilled. There are clean hot showers with plenty of space for clothes, towels etc. The top part of the site by the toilets has ample space for at least a couple of campervans and there are many spaces for tents in the lower field. The owner is really friendly and seems to work all hours keeping the site clean and tidy. Had a really nice feel to it. Electricity points available too.

Report Check-In

Excellent choice in Coyhaique! We stayed 2 nights and paid 5000 pp pn with our camper. Very friendly owner, very clean and most important: very protected from the wind! Quickest wifi we found in weeks! Walking into the city center: 10 min

Report Check-In

We're backpacking and stayed here for two nights. All was okay - not too many people, hot and spacious showers, fast wifi and a communal place under a roof to eat. A 10-15 minute walk from the city center. Close to the bus station. The owner was very friendly and helpfull. 5.000 CLP pp per night

Report Check-In

I stayed here one night. Very great campsite with electricity, hot showers and Wi-Fi for 5000 pesos per person. I surely was there during low season so not crowded, all worked perfectly and the owner is really nice. 2 minutes by car from big Unimarc and all petrol station.

hi ok Luo. koi MN mo ym8ki out I

Report Check-In

Been here for a night, showers and toilets are clean, hot water and fast internet. Not many people. It was the only open campground, we needed to stay to wash our clothes etc

Report Check-In

Unfortunately the campground don't offer any heatable common area. As it had snow-rain with 0℃ outside the girl there wanted to offer us their office for cooking and staying some hours, but the owner denied and explained us this is a campground and he don't know what we expect - so we left.

Report Check-In

good camping. good wifi. good showers and toilets. very clean and spacious for the tents. all in all a good place. the only downsides i see are that the common area is open, therefore exposed to the wind and coldness of patagonia and is right next to the river. this last point makes everything quite humid in the early morning and evenings. other than that, is really good.

Report Check-In

Completely agree with previous comments. overated and expensive for what you get. Furthermore the space next to amneities is under tree, which mean hard to recharge our solar panels, shower tick until 11pm, and bridge is noisy at night and morning. Backpackers organising payment, making mistakes, and then owner suspicious of our honesty. yummy apples plums and raspberry in the yard.

Report Check-In

Great clean place described. Awesome brewery 300m crossing the bridge after the campground.

Report Check-In

We had rainy day so we stayed but better wild camp if you dont need internet. Its nothing special for car campers. 5tPP.

Report Check-In

Camping with Wi-Fi and clean bathrooms. Watch out not to miss it, it is located right before the bridge.

Report Check-In

we can just recomnend this very well maintained camping (good & clean showers, very good wifi allover, really helpful owner, nice cats and dog, green and shady place)

Report Check-In

Nice site with good facilities but not enough toilets etc for the amount of people camping here. Big hill to go down to get there! 5000 per person per night. Nice place though.

Report Check-In

This place is not as good as we expected based on below reviews. There were many people at the campsite during our stay. We believe too many, if there is only a capacity of two showers and two toilets per gender. Queing is not nice for these amenities while paying 5.000 pesos p.p. Next to this, the internet was also too heavily used so not working. We left after one night.

Report Check-In

Very crowded but good location close to the City for eating out. Wifi is ok, few bathrooms for too many people.

Report Check-In

Nice Owner, good Price 5000 per Person, we dont took electricity for 2000 Peso extra.
Big Rigs are ok, when its not crowded. There are just some few places for Trucks and Mobilehomes. Big Tent Area. Top Facilities.
Camping its just at the right side before a 2 Tonne Brigde with 2.30 high clearence.

Report Check-In

We can confirm all the positive comments below. Very nice camping, but not too big so you should come early. WiFi is working well and everything is for affordable price 5000 CLP per person, we did not have a tent a our car was for free. Nice bathrooms, hot shower so highly recommended.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

An excellent campsite. Lovely, romantic setting. The little house surrounded by roses and cats. Hot, clean showers, dishwashing facilities, good wifi, barbecues. A shelter where you can sit/eat/relax. No electricity at the campsites, but enough mains in the shower block to fill up empty batteries. Price is fair.

Report Check-In

Great campsite. Very sheltered and peaceful. Gorge is very friendly and helpful. Facilities are to a good standard and clean/well maintained. 10 minute walk into town. 5,000 pesos pp. Good wifi.

Report Check-In

nice campsite, good location and clean.
wifi was ok. shared shelter with tables. it costs 5000 pesos

Report Check-In

Turn right before the bridge. Grassy field, some trees around. Plastic chairs and tables provided. Well maintained. Many friendly cats around. Nice owner. Good modern and clean showers and toilets. Sinks for dishes and laundry. Sheltered wooden benches and tables near main building. Indoor room you can use for cooking. Good wifi near main building. Near center of city but very steep road. A nice lady stopped and offered to drive us up.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for 3 nights as we had troubles with our car. Very nice campground near the city (10 minutes walking), green and very good amenities. Jorge is indeed a very nice bloke working hard to maintain his campsite. He's very friendly but speaks no English, his girlfriend/wife does speak very well English if necessary.
Showers are good and cleaned twice a day. Possibility to use shelter. Tables, chairs and barbecue can be used from the camping.
Fast and reliable internet.
We paid 5000 pesos/adult, 3000/child/night.
A very big Unimarc can easily be reached by foot, careful very very busy around 18:00!
Coihaique is a good place to do some shopping as prices are not that high, compared to Argentina cities e.g.

Report Check-In

the other campgrounds were closed, so we ended up here. good choice.
it was actually still closed, but we were allowed to stay. payed 5000 pp
shower was nice after a week ;) and toilets were clean and with toiletpaper.

had dinner in a really nice steakhouse in town, forget the name (in the pedestrian zone)

Report Check-In

Really nice owner but told us it was closed for the season because he had shut off the water in the bathrooms. It might be possible to negotiate and stay anyways. 4,000 pp

Report Check-In

good place, nice owner, hot showers and fast internet. Also some tables and cooking possibilities under a roof - great on a rainy day. Lots of lovely kittens running around here.

Report Check-In

Really nice campsite, clean toilets and showers (hot and the best we've had in South America so far!). Wifi in some of the spots close to the house. Nice cooking and social area. Lovely spot near town and really friendly owner. CH$5000 per person per night, no extra charge for campervan.

Report Check-In

Nice lawn with trees and new, wel maintained and clean ablutions. Basics such as locks on the ablution doors and hooks in the showers are missing. Wifi, electricity. CLP 10,000 (2 adults, camper).

Report Check-In

Very nice Place. Very friendly people and clean bathrooms, shower, etc. 5.000 CLP / Person

Report Check-In

Nice and beautiful, very friendly people. 5.000 CLP pro Person, very good wifi! 😊

Report Check-In

Great spot for an overnighter. Andrew was impressed with the WiFi speed (other then one other couple the campground was empty - so I am sure this helped). We liked the hot showers and took advantage of the sun to get some long overdue washing done. Plenty of trees for shade. Great spot! 5000 pesos per person, per night. Electricity additional 2500.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Good place. Wifi is fastest close to the house. Good hot showers too. 5000 pesos per person and they want 2500 per day extra if you want electricity. They have dogs and a bunch of friendly cats and our 3 dogs fit right in.

Report Check-In

Mooie kleine rustieke camping buiten coyhaique. Weinig plek voor grote Campers. In tegenstelling tot eerdere berichten werkt de WiFi wel rondom de woning en het toiletgebouw.

Report Check-In

Great location with newer, clean facilities. Friendly owner and good wifi. The hill to town is a killer by foot but close and worth the work ha!

Report Check-In

Very idyllic campground with lots of grass & friendly animals run by the super nice Gorge! He's very kind & helpful and even towed our car to the next mechanic! The showers are hot and very clean. BBQ & wood are provided! Highly recommended! 5000 chp pp
