We hope to see you soon!

As others have said this place and the amenities are great! Still 300 mxp per night for two people in a van. Arch to get in prohibits taller rigs (sign says 10 ft 3 in or 3.15 meters).

Also the person who said this is closed is incorrect - it’s definitely open. I did notice for sale signs on a neighboring property.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

We found the place closed and for sale. Doesn't look loke it will re-open soon

Report Check-In

two nights here, very well received, be careful to the height at the entrance. $300 per night, taxi to the center for $70, there were not many people in the hotel, wifi access, the swimming pool and jaccuzi upstairs at the hotel, downstairs in the parking lot a bit noisy because next to the road, but secured by a gate, pair of keys for entry and exit as well as access to the toilets and shower. dump and tap at each location.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay with excellent facilities. Amazing shower and upper area is wonderful to hang out. Staff are amazing also. We stayed for 8 days to work on van and was helped by staff to find a propane repair man. City was also beautiful and enjoyed exploring.

Report Check-In

Absolutely beautiful. our 10' 3" travel trailer fit, barely, under the gate! We're the only ones here, so we have a private bathroom and shower! Staff are wonderful, price is 300 pesos a night for two of us, our rig, and our dog. Includes access to all the Resort Amenities. pool, hot tub, gym, etc.

Report Check-In

Literally one of the best places I’ve ever camped in Mexico or the US. The views of the city are gorgeous and the grounds of the RV park/hotel themselves are beautiful too. Very safe with a locking gate that you get keys to so you can easily come and go. Easy to get to, well paved and maintained roads the whole way including the parking lot. RV park area is in the parking lot, but I was in a tent and they provided me this beautiful grassy patch with a nice chair and shade from trees just up the hill between the parking lot and reception. The shower and bathroom are nice, clean and very hot water. Wifi only up by the buildings but strong AT&T coverage throughout. Gym, pool, and laundry facilities available. The staff are extremely kind and very responsive on WhatsApp. Caro, Javier, Juan, and all the other staff whose names I didn’t catch were all so helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Caro and Javier both speak great English if your Spanish (like mine) needs practice. Would have absolutely stayed longer if I didn’t already have plans elsewhere. There are regular buses into town or you can drive, only about 10 mins from the centro historico — I drove and didn’t have a problem finding parking with a small car, but with big RVs you are probably better off taking the bus as the streets in town are extremely narrow.

We loved this place so much we stayed a week! One day we didn’t even leave the property and just hung out at the pool or in our hammock all day!
Javier and the staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It felt more like staying at a nice relatives house than at an rv park/ hotel.
We did yoga every morning on the gym patio overlooking the city. It doesn’t get any better than that!

We had breakfast at the hotel on our last day there and were very impressed. Lots of healthy options including fresh fruit/ granola/ omelette etc. Great coffee too! $150 pesos per person for buffet and a stunning view.
We did a load of laundry while we were there $80 pesos
The bus down the hill into Guanajuato was $7 pesos each way or a taxi was 60-90 depending on what part of the city you were in.
There’s a small tienda just a 2 minute walk to the left as you leave the property. You can get some fresh fruit and veg, bollelo, juice etc.
Overall this was one of our favourite rv parks in Mexico. We hope to come stay in one of their deluxe rooms one day too!

Paradise! We can use everything from the hotel. Pool, kitchen, drinking water, fitness, livingroom, terrace. It is sooooo beautiful here. Private bathroom for the RV park with hot shower. Shade for parking. Gate locked and we have a key. With the bus it is 7 pesos into city center. And everybody is super friendly!

At the beginning: it’s an awesome place to camp and relax. Absolutely recommended!! Pool, hot-tub and gym!

We stayed two nights at this awesome place. It’s an official RV Park, so they have space for vans (maximum high 3.12 meter ) with water and electricity at every place. You can use the the hole Hotel area including a great pool, really hot hottub, gym with amazing view and a tennis court. At the parking spot is a clean bathroom with hot shower. Everything is included (150 pesos per person per night). You can have great breakfast with fresh fruits and yummy eggs for 150 pesos extra. The stuff is very friendly and welcome overlanders!

Nice spot for staying a couple of days. Just take the bus to the city. Don’t Drive. No parking spots at the city.
In Casa Estrella you have a safe place to stay. Very clean bathroom, electricity and water. wifi available but not at the parking site. If you walk upstare you get it.
Call first to check if you fit in. We have a Van so it was very easy.
300 pesos per night for two people..
Friendly staff..!!!

The RV spots are meh, but it allows you access to an immaculately appointed communal space with a jaw dropping view of Guanajuato. The shower was the cleanest, most beautiful and hot one I've used in Mexico, although on that occasion it had a slow drain. We only splurged for this spot because my wife likes to do the laundry herself and here you can pay an additional 50p per load to do your laundry as you wait with a superb vista. We drank into the night on the balcony for July 4th

Report Check-In

Very nice RV park in lower parking lot of upscale small hotel. Gate has height restriction of 10’3”. Lots of room to turn around in lot. Spaces have power, water and sewer but are not level. Blocks are needed. Shower and toilet are new and clean. All facilities of hotel are for use by campers- pool fitness centre and laundry free. Wifi on patio upstairs. Lounge can be used. Great place recommended. Bus stop very near 7 pesos easy to get Valenciana bus back.

Report Check-In

what a wonderful spot for overlanding. The grounds are immense and include bathrooms, a small gym, laundry room (Free), swimming pool, and more romantic nooks to perch than you can imagine. stunning views of the city.

Report Check-In

This place is great! Gorgeous and well maintained property with a pool, hot tub, tennis court, spa, little garden area, and gym (with killer views of the city). You can also request to have them cook you breakfast in their main hotel area for a small charge.

The bathroom is amazing... super clean, hot water, huge shower and it seems like it is brand new.

There’s no WiFi where the RV park is but you can walk upstairs and hang in either the gym area which has a nice patio with a view or their main hotel area which is very nice and cozy.

There are electrical outlets as well as water spouts around the lot. There are a couple of flat places where you can park. Otherwise you’ll need to have leveling blocks. It’s gated in so we felt safe and secure leaving the van when we went to town. Uber rides were like $6 to get to town which worked out great.

Javier is great... super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!

Note: To get to the RV park stay on the lower road / lower section of the property and then call. There’s a gate with a sign that says Casa Estrella RV and there where you want to stay put. Because if you have a large van or camper, the roads are VERY narrow up where their main hotel entrance is.

Report Check-In

Excellent place! We ended up staying here longer than we planned and really enjoyed it. Camping area is just a parking lot, and you’ll need leveling blocks for most spots, but it is tidy and has trees, a nice bathroom, and a view of the church. There is water, electricity, and dump sites. Up through the garden is a new gym (!!) with a weight machine, elliptical, and yoga mats. Also a patio with a great view. WiFi up there was fast and dependable. They also let us use the washing machine and dryer.

It was very easy to get to and from town — bus picks up at the corner. $7mxn and 10-15 minutes. To get back to Valenciana you catch the bus at the point in maps.me that says “Bus Valenciana,” or a taxi back was 50-60 pesos.

Our 3.05m van fit through the gate (labeled 3.12m) with room to spare. Still $300mxn per night.

Nous nous faisions une joie de venir dormir ici. Malheureusement leur portail d'entrée comporte une arche en pierre ne laissant pas passer les vehicules de plus de 3,12 m. Impossible de rentrer avec notre Iveco Laika.

Report Check-In

What a beautiful place and all are focused on keeping it that way. $300 pesos includes use of the pool, hot tub, laundry and lovely gardens. The wifi is accessed on the pool level so stairs must be climbed. but the view is amazing. The rv parking area is not level but they have plans to address that. Some shade is available. The bathroom- so very nice!

Report Check-In

Secured and gated. Very nice restroom and shower with hot water. Many amenities available: pool, kitchen, WiFi in clubhouse. Clean place. Parking lot not level.

Report Check-In

This is a great RV park with lovely facilities. The RV park is at the lowest level of the property and has its own amazing bathroom incl hot shower with good pressure. Best bathroom we had in Central America. The other facilities you can use are up some stairs, like a swimming pool, jacuzzi and a terrace with a view with fast WiFi. We also had an amazingly good massage at the spa, just ask Javier. And they have yoga on Saturdays at 9am.
Dog friendly and gated. Only downside is that it’s hard to find a leveled spot.
Definitely recommend if you want to relax a bit. Taxi to the center 50P at daytime and 80P at night.

Report Check-In

It is a convenient place to visit the city. The bus fare is now 7 pesos and a taxi ride 50 pesos.
The bathroom and shower is really nice, better than at home...
No wifi at the rvpark, only in the main building, so you have to walk up some stairways.
Javier is a nice guy. He takes the time to explain everything you want to know about.
Really reccommended.

Report Check-In

Wonderful place. The best RV site ever. They want all RV below. They are thinking of adding a workout room. They already have a pool and hot top and massage. Guanajuato is a great city. Lots of energy and one of our favorite.

Report Check-In

Wonderful place to stay. Great facilities. They finished the bathroom in the new RV park while we were there. Javier was extremely enthusiastic and helpful and did everything he could to make our stay there an enjoyable one.
We had a wonderful massage by the masseuse who visits there almost daily.
It was $50 pesos for a cab into town or $5 pesos on the bus

Report Check-In

Wonderful place with excellent facilities. Firstly, note the limited access which is kisted in one of the photos. 10'3" or 3.15m and the owners are NOT taking the arch down. If this is too low then the town itself may be a bit tricky to drive around as streets are narrow and there are various tunnels. There are renovations under way now, july 18, and I Clyde new toilets and showers in the rv area, there is a great pool and hot tub all with beautiful views over the city. There is laundry facilities and use of a great terrace which looks down over the pretty gardens and tennis court. Really very friendly and hospitable people and Javier the manager speaks perfect English. Price 300 peso per night but worth double! There is room for one small rig like ours up by the terrace which is next to the pool and we were lucky to have this whilst the rv lot was bei g renovated. This is the best city rv site we have found and it was hard to leave. Taxi from city centre was only 80 peso at night so no need to drive. Bus was 5 peso down. There is a really nice restaurant 5 min walk down the hill. Ask Javier

Report Check-In

The door is only 3,50 meters high, but the owner are thinking of knocking it down.
Our RV is higher, so we can't stay.

Report Check-In

The gate is exactly 3.15m .... our rig is 3.4m.
No way to enter!
Somebody tell the owner to break down that arch !!!

Report Check-In

This is a great stop outside of Guanajuato, perhaps 20 minutes by the city bus nearby. This is a hotel that is starting to convert their lower lot into an RV park. While staying you have access to shared areas of the compound including a pool, fire pit, and balcony with kitchen.
This lot is below but several flights of stairs, and WiFi, bathrooms and shower are all available with a walk. Level sites, partial shade. Sewer is forthcoming, electricity was offered but we used our solar. Manager Javier is very friendly and speaks English, I recommend calling that day so they know you're arriving and can unlock the lower gate. Height limit of perhaps 4 meters? They will knock down the arch soon I think. Enter on Camino A Santa Ana, passed the dirt lot you'll see the gates on your right. Plenty secure, we spent three nights here enjoying a break from the road.
