Saro is a fantastic host who can tell you everything about the town's silk road history and the region's current situation. We really enjoyed our conversations with him and a gave us loads of tips about where to go.
He has rooms for rent, but we were allowed to camp with the car in his garden. To get there, drive down past the hospital to the big gate at the end of the road where the friendly dog will greet you. Puppies if you are lucky. Most days during the day you can find him at the history museum were he works.

Warm welcome by Saro who talks English. We parked in his yard. You pay what you want. Saro is historian and tells a lot about his country. Perfect place to visit the area. We spent 3 nights here. To find it, pass the old hospital. It will be on ur right. Drive down a bit and turn left untill you see a large grey gate. There is a door in it. Very peacefull to sleep. One can use shower and toilet. Dog was welcome too.
