Clean restaurant, simple food. I paid 13 soles for a plate. WiFi works.

We stopped for lunch and the good news is that now, in addition to good food and parking, there is also good Wi-Fi. great place to stop as we traveled 381 km without cell phone signal, highly recommended.

muy bien lugar para acampar , llegué con mi bicicleta y el encargado me aconsejo no continuar la subida porque ya eran las 3 de la tarde y arriba en la laguna cae nieve en la noche así que hice caso y me quedé , llovió toda la noche , las personas del restaurante me regalaron caldo de gallina y mate de coca tanto para la cena como al desayuno el otro día , son unas personas muy amables y generosas , las condiciones para acampar son extremas por la altura hay que llegar bien equipado

We stopped by and asked if we could park behind the restaurant for the night. The lady said they do it all the time, no problem. She said we could stay for free but we have her 10 Soles for her kindness and willingness to help. Also, it was a quite cold night so come prepared.

You can park behind the restaurant. It's calm during the night.
The owner is nice, and made us a good meal, 15 soles for a chicharon de trucha.
A bit cold at night due to the high altitude.

A big area to park. No restrictions to park RV's. No estructure. Wild camping.

I'm a cyclist. The owner is really nice and let me stay in the restaurant for the night! Nice spot!
