Description

This is just an AMAZING place. We absolutely fell in love with it. It is an B&B/horseranch with a lot of space for big rigs and tents. Jeannie the owner is a wonderfull host. She is originally from America and speaks perfect english and spanish.
The B&B has 6 rooms. Hot showers and electricity are available. There are hammocks and even a campfire pit.
The surroundings are absolutely stunning. There are a lot of trails you can hike. You can do horseback riding or mountainbiking around the Cayambe volcano and waterfall.
If you are around Quito and need a place to just relax and enjoy the nature than this is the place to stay!
The place does'nt have a set adress. Coming from calle napo after about 1 km you will see a blue water tank on your left. At this point you will take the road to your right. Follow the road for about 0,5 km till you see a yellow house with a green rooftop on your right. This is Casa de Campo

Parking place between road (only very little traffic) and a nice garden. Cost in campervan is 6$ pppn. Owner Jeannie did not show up when we arrived, we were let in by her son (moving super slow motion) and the gardener.

we stayed two days and it was soooo nice. Jeanne is a great host, Steaks English, and is very involved in the Native community.
Electricity 110 and 220V, very good WLAN, hot showers. The water is from the mountain, so it is very clean.
Very recommend!

A splendid hacienda - we really enjoyed our time here, the hospitality, the amenities, the view and the proximity to the Vulcan Cayambe. Highly recommended - would definitely come again.

Gates to parkinglot locked, this place appears closed. Although there were horses in the paddock so maybe just temporary closed for business.

Nice place--stayed there for two weeks and then another week a couple months later--but hostess, Jeannie, is "difficult." Not going to get into all the gory details, let's just leave it at, "extremely volatile and personality not particularly compatible w/ vocation of inn-keeper." Would not stay there again

La casa de Campo is a peaceful place. Everything is super clean, you can use the beautiful patio or sit inside.
The staff and owners are always happy to help and will make you feel at home.

PRICES :
It costs 10$ a vehicule and 2 peoples, then it costs 5$ for each +1
The bathrooms in the little house are super clean and the water is hot. You have to pay 5$ to use them for 2 peoples. Towels will then be provided.
The Wi-Fi is free and fast.

The restaurant is not open for lunch and dinner. Only for DELICIOUS and generous breakfasts really worth it !
The horses are a perfect addition to this dreamy place. You can ask for a tour in the beautiful Andes, with incredible views on mountains and roses plantations !
Perfect place to rest.
In Cayambe you have to ask the taxi drivers to go to "San Miguel de Paquiestancia" to find the place.

I returned to Jeanie and her place for a second time and loved it as much as the first time.
Everything is clean, food is superb, and you are looked after with love and care.

Gorgeous site with beautiful view of Cayambe. Super friendly owner who makes delicious juices! plenty of space available for camping in tent or hammock. Cute dog and eight horses. Beautiful horse back riding opportunities available. Plenty of secure parking for motos and RV's.

This place is ok, we feel it is overrated. We camped in the lower parking area because it was flat and away from the road. The problem was a terrible sewer/poop stench that was unbearable, so I would advise you to not park there. The place is located in the middle of an agricultural area of mostly rose greenhouses, you can walk the dusty roads but you will need to drive to any of the good trails. WiFi was really good on the patio side.
The bathroom in the little hut was clean and the shower was hot. Jeannie and her 2 sons, Joshua and John, are very nice. They gave us some banana bread on the morning we left which was delicious. Prices the same as previous.

I stayed longer than planned because Jeannie, her cooking , the showers and the little house I was allowed to use were good for my soul and body.

We loved our stay here. Everybody is super friendly and welcoming. We paid 10 usd for 2 people, however we did not use their shower or bathroom. Two entrance gates, one with a low hanging wire. Our 3.4m height Truck camper managed to squeeze through the second entrance and tree branches.
Highly recommend this place it’s so beautiful to recharge your battery here.
