Parking above the beach (2WD) | Informal Campsite

Hard to find. It seems as if those who wrote about this place stayed at various sites. We ended up next to the Edificio Punta Pucón apartment building. This area has a large tree in the middle and is a private property. The owner let us stay anyway. Others have stayed further east and have taken the entrance next to the ‘Estacionameto con baño todo auto paca’ sign (see photo). Presumably this is a better wildcamping location. We haven’t checked it out though. Further to the west there’s a marina with a narrow strip of asphalt, which might be a good spot too, though we’re not sure if it’s allowed.

closed After february but they let us sleep there after aksing. The logo is in the wrong place, it's next to Ana Krauss Cabana (right side when you look at the lake) she asked 10 000 for 2people, without any service even toilet. we agreed on 7500. Private beach and quite.

Correction of Coordinates! -39.298055, -72.017979 nice and cheap place. The Lady asked for 9000 Clp but as i tould her we dont need electric or toiletts/showers she aks for 5000Clp.Beach almost for our self! not like Pucon...;-)

We pulled into town late and campgrounds were full, so we followed the GPS to this beach parking lot. Look for "Estacionamiento" with colorful flags (on the lake side of the street), beside Cabañas Ana Kraus. (photo attached)

It was after 11 pm, so we paid the friendly lady 5,000 CLP the next morning when she came out. We were in a van with a toilet so didn't use the baño attached to the house and left before anyone arrived for the beach in the morning.

Not appropriate for tents without asking first, as it is primarily a small parking lot for day users at the beach.

Well off the road but still lots of traffic on the main road between Pucón and Villarica, so traffic was moving by 4 am. It didn't bother us but if you are sensitive to noise maybe it would. No dogs barking.

A parking lot with toilet (no shower). We payed 5'000 (for our van) for one night. Please ask and pay in the small house next to the entrance gate. You have a beautiful view over the lake and you are directly at a nice beach, if you want to go swimming. There are picnic tables and benches, we didn't use. We were alone.
Maybe it is not always open!
