Something not right?

Description

4x4 road to a large and gorgeous beach. Wouldn’t attempt this without a sturdy vehicle as there are some very uneven and sandy spots on the road. Once you get there the cliffs are bright turquoise. A wonderful spot to camp and explore.

Latest Check-Ins

The road in is impassable at this point due to severe erosion. We have a very capable vehicles and didn’t attempt to try it. Stayed up the road at another site.

Beautiful beach camp, as described. Only the last few hundred meters of road were sketchy in loose sand. Good birding, striking geology.
Strange distant constant engine noise, perhaps a pumping station west of the main road?

Ignore the last post! This is a lovely short drive off the main track to a pretty beach and beautiful turquoise cliffs. Looks a great wildcamp spot. We would have stayed if it were later in the day.

Don’t know where the turquoise cliffs where but we saw them much further north along the road. Not a particularly nice beach. Not worth the drive either way

Very beautiful location. The road in from La Paz was very good condition, had recently been graded. When using Google maps It tried to take us through a private section of road with a gate and security right after the pavement ends and they told us we had to turn right right when the pavement ends and take the dirt perimeter Road. The road to the beach from this perimeter road was good condition when dry with a few wash outs. Location was accurate. Had whole beach yo ourselves but the water wasn’t really appealing for swimming because of muck and rocks. We ventured further down the main road to see ‘Las dunas’ on our dirt bikes and it was very beautiful and worth the drive if capable vehicle, but the road gets nastier as you go. Only continue on if have high clearance and 4x4 and not and RV.
