Report Check-In

We stayed 3 nights
+ : Parking cheap (10 bs/day. Try to charge us 20 bs when we left !), convenient to visiting and flying above the town with the cable car blue line less 5 minutes walk.
- : There is a quite big pavement at the entrance. There are a lot of waste on the dirt ground. It's not the best district of the town so it's not pleasant (for us) to go out in the evening for a walk or eating out (It's better to stay in "Sopocachi" for nice restaurants and bars). And don't stay on sunday because it's football day. There is a football field in the parking and matches during all the day with some very drunk men... It's very noisy until 8pm and men urinated (and more...) all around our motorhome and all around the parking ! That why it's not possible to arrive on sunday. Not secure at all on sunday.
Don't recommend (althoug the family looks need money) unless you are very broke and don't want to park in the street.

We turned up on Sunday. It said its open on the sign but after phoning the number (71266884), he said that in out he doesn't open on Sundays. There is parking in the football pitch next door, but on a Sunday it is full of people playing football, and there tends to be a lot of drinking, occasional fights, thrown rocks, and drink driving when they leave, so the lady who lives there advised is against it.

Entrance is on the west side off Ave Sucre B. I entered the correct GPS. Family very nice, live on the premise. Ask for Beto. Charges only 10Bol for 24 hrs!

10 bolivianos for 24 hours (2 people + van). It's just a parking lot that is secured and allows you to sleep in your vehicle (we did on both nights). There is one toilet in the back by the soccer field (no roof, no sink, no toilet paper). We liked the location. Less than 5 minute walk from Teleférico UPEA station (blue line) that will take you wherever you need to go in La Paz. A market nearby, cheap places to eat, feria, and just a very nice family.

Report Check-In

Stayed here for two nights in January. Run by a very friendly family and in a great spot for visiting La Paz without having to drive into the craziness of the city. Don't have any misconceptions, this is still very rough car camping, mostly because the bathrooms are open to the elements, aren't connected to any pipes or septic, and were destroyed while we were there. Also, they host futbol matches literally all Sunday so we would have been completely blocked in if we wanted to leave, thankfully we didn't. Paid 10bob per night.

Great place to park up and stay when visiting La Paz without needing to navigate the traffic and steep hills. We stayed 3 nights, friendly family, very basic toilets, water available from a tap, 10bs/24 hours.
Nearby streetfood, cafe with WiFi, power points and quiet to work for a couple of hours, easy access to centre using the cable car, and the nearby Paraiso sauna and swimming pool with hot showers is great to clean up. Don't miss the nearby market on Thursdays and Sundays!
