Parking lot of Valle de Luna entrance. Free, quite and view is nice. All gravel lot, little dirt patches off the back. (Didn't tent but, pretty sure they are ok with about anything)
Comment: This park entrance has been marked as closed but this is incorrect, we are there right now and its the only access to Valle de la Luna! :) the other entrance west is closed. camping description is correct, you can camp in carpark for free but no use of facilities.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

We are spending here the 2nd night on the parking place with our camping car. The staff gave us the permission to do so.
Today the whole day the valle de luna was closed because of heavy rain last night.
Camping was is not permitted anymore on the parking lot after visiting the valley at sunset.
Report Check-InTalked to the people and they didn't want us to camp there as "it's ruining the image of the park..."
Report Check-InWe were kindly allowed to stay there for the night but a grumpy old guard kicked us out (around 22PM) pretending the toilets are always dirty when people stay overnight. He said a couple of other BS so we decided to move :(
Report Check-Inthis place is open! this is the only access to VdL. camping descriptions are accurate
Report Check-Inwe asked at the office and they allowed us to stay overnight on the parking areal. For peoples with a tent it's maybe not allowed.
Report Check-InValle de la Luna entrance prices: 8-11.59am: 2500 pesos, after 12:00 3000 pesos
Report Check-InWe ask, if we drove out after sunset if we can stay for the night,no problem
Report Check-Init's not allowed to camp here anymore. they told us,because of campers, who did a big mess in the bathrooms. it's a shame to hear that:-(
Report Check-Instayed here 3 nights out of the noisy town
very quiet and free
at night look at the stars !!!
Asked the lady working if it's ok, without hesitation she said yes park anywhere it's fine. More quite than in town, won't complain about the view either.
