Panama
Not far (approx 2km from the road to fall No.3) but it's steep and muddy in places, even in the dry season. Nice waterfalls but nothing unique here. No wildlife that we saw. $7 is probably too much. Can swim in falls 2 & 3, but of course VERY cold water! For photos, the sun shines on the falls and causes nice rainbows in the afternoon.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
If you’re an avid hiker looking for a strenuous hike, this is not the place. $10 entrance fee and took me only 1 hour 20 min to visit all three waterfalls and get back to my van. That includes 20 min of swimming. Not worth it in my opinion.
Technical spot with ropes, quite steep. The waterfalls and pools are definitely pretty and nice to swim in, but if you’ve been traveling around Central America, nothing crazy. If you want to spend the day chilling at some waterfalls, this is probably the place for that. Want a hike to get some solid exercise? Maybe another trail would be better.
Report Check-InGreat hike through the jungle to some beautiful waterfalls! 10$ per person and worth it!
Report Check-Inadmission is $10 per person
passage to the third waterfall in very poor condition
Nice hike through dense jungle with three waterfalls. $7 entrance but we found it worth that.
The hike takes at least 2 hours up/down.
opens at 7am, closes at 4 pm, no admittance afterwards, we were too late (5pm)
Report Check-InDog owners: there is a dog at the cabinas who does not play along with male dogs according to its owner so be aware. No problem with our chica :)
