Nice and quiet place at the Laguna Entrance fee 1 Sol per person and 2.50 Sol per Car.
Flat grassy area next to the laguna. Big enough for big rigs. Awesome landscape and sunset. Super quite no one around except few group of lamas and birds. Freezing at night so I don't recommend for tent. - 5°C in the morning

This laguna is the second place where it is authorized to camp with a permit. This is a wonderful place, it's a dreaming place to camp! The landscapes are so beautiful! The light on the rock at sunset and sunrise are incredible. I really recommend! The road to come here is really nice also. Don't hesitate to continue the loop passing by San Augustin de Huaychao, the Altiplano is beautiful and the track pretty good. Water is fresh and clear. There are some andean gooses. No Claro signal.
Report Check-InThe guard at the entrance told me it was prohibitied to camp inside the park but I could camp at the gates. At first I was thinking of sleeping at the spot by the lake, but the numerous gates along this road made me feel not too welcomed, so I turned back to sleep at the entrance. It was raining anyways so it didn't make much of a difference.
Report Check-Insorry i could not read the previous french post. perhaps there is written the same. we had a very quiet night, well above freezing. there is another beautiful overnight spot just 300 m further up un the left (with over 50 andean goose). the road continues well mantained. coming here is a very narrow bridge (-10.921701, -76.36495). if your wheels are more apart than our sprinter van it might be difficult to pass.
Report Check-InWonderfull spot !
