This beautiful place is pretty much unreachable with a "normal" van with "normal" tires. Jemal invited us to park on the other side of the river bed. To make it short, we paid 250pp to take a shower! We also had dinner (250): ok-- compared to Moritanian average. Visit to the oasis is 200, not 150 for Jemel customers as said earlier.

Nice basic place. Around 15min walk from the oasis. We payed 250MRU per tent, which fits two persons. If you pay the oasis entry here, you can save 50MRU (150 instead of 200).

Actually Chez Jemal ;) Super nice auberge in a beautiful setting, Jemal is very kind. Toilets and showers (cold water). No WiFi and just enough signal to send a WhatsApp message. Electricity in the common kitchen to charge devices. 250 per person for a basic tent, 250 for a nice dinner, 100 for breakfast with bread and tea/coffee. Very small épicerie in the small village. You can walk to the oasis. You can also ask Jemal to find you a local guy who will take you on a little hike to go see prehistoric paintings for 200 MRU. Buses to and from Nouakchott leave from the intersection, Jemal can drive you. A taxi to Atar is 200 per person if you take the regular time.

Beautiful place with palm trees, flowers and even a swimming pool! Good food. Only 2-3 spots to park your car here, not flat. Need some ground clearance or skills to come here.
About 15 minutes walk to the oasis. You get discount on entrance for the oasis if you stay here.

Very nice, scenic camp very close to the oasis. Very nice staff and food too. I used a bus from nouakchott (800MRU return to Atar) and got off at the junction for Terjit. I then hitchhiked the remaining 15 or so minutes.

Prices as of february 2022 - 250MRU per night for the tent. 250MRU dinner. 100MRU breakfast

Oasis i paid 150 but others paid 200

Guides tours (short or long) are very much possible and not overly expensive

Jemal can help you organise everything - transport to atar is possible (and then further). A bus also runs direct from terjit to Nouakchott (500MRU)

Great camping! The toilets and shower are very clean, great view, the staff is super nice! 200 ugyia per car.

Very basic camping in the oasis. The oasis it self was nothing special and expensive for what you get. We spend one night here and paid 200 for 2 people and a 4x4 which was cheap. They have made a small swimming hall if you need a dip. We paid 200 pp for the oasis to go for a swim and it was not possible.

Very nice place to stay in Terjit.
From there you have access to the oasis. Aoujeft. Vallee Blanche.
You could camp or use a mauritanian tent with great view
The staff is very friendly and helpfull.
The food is delicious.

About 2 miles of rough road varying from stretches of deep sand to steep narrow rocky curves lead to the auberge. We are big and heavy and had to use 4 wheel drive low in places. The place has a moderate sized sloped parking lot where they welcomed us to camp for the night, and use their bathrooms and facilities. They provided a guide to the nearby oasis where we went with another group. In yhe morning they charged us 400 MRUs for the guide, but nothing for camping.

Very RELAXING in the desert oasis. Super clean, good basic food, nice toilets, lots of shade, and again, very relaxing. we started in their tents. €5pp, dinner €5pp, breakfast €2.50pp. stay a few days.

New campsite, nice set up and surroundings. Friendly staff and good food. Good shower at a fine temperature. Very good alternative for the Oasis Auberge which is a bit run down. Sleeping tents with musquito nets availablr. We paid appr €8 pp incl. diner and breakfast.
