Description
We spent 3 nights on the parking lot at the „Plaza de Armas“ (near to the police station). We asked the police if it’s ok to spend the night here and they said yes! No facilities - there are „baños publicos“ at the mercado central (150m away). Safe place, a lot of restaurants, tourist information and the „usual noise“.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Report Check-InWe spent 2 nights here, during the week (before visiting the canyon) and friday night ( before leaving the canyon ). No incidents and quiet. However, the first night the policeman asked us to leave before 8am and the second before 7am...! 😴
Report Check-Init was ok here but we had an incident with some drink guys who attempted to open our van doors while we slept at about 2:00 am. we brought the police and after some arguing the men left. it was probably an isolated incident but I might avoid this place on a weekend.
