Report Check-InFrom route 40 it's 3.2 km drive on unpaved road. Beautiful view when it's not raining and foggy but you have to walk a very short distance to the view. It's not visible from the parking area. We did not see any signs that it was day use only. There were signs that seemed to relate to the end of that road about 12 km down to a lake.
Report Check-InPerfect place to overnight between El Bolsón and Bariloche. No wind, beautiful sunset and sunrise, no one came to check us. Highly recommend!
Report Check-InAwesome spot. We arrived very late to a beautiful starry night. No issues with any checks, absolutely beautiful viewpoint perfect spot for breakfast the next day.

Report Check-InWoaahh! What a beautiful spot! There was absolutely no one around, no wind, almost no sounds, only birds and a great view on a laguna and 2 lakes. Great night under the stars!
Report Check-InVery nice spot next to a beautiful mirador. Not visible from the road. We were alone on a Saturday evening, it was cold (some snow) but not windy.
Report Check-InGood place to camp like everyone else said. But it was extremely windy when we were here. Also a police car drove by at midnight but didn't stop just did a loop and left.

Report Check-InGood place for a night. There are two pay campgrounds closer to Lago Steffen. We spend the afternoon and evening at the day use area at Lago Steffen then came back up here at sunset.
Report Check-InThere's a large parking area here for a very seldom used viewpoint. The parking area is completely out of sight from the road to Lago Steffen. Very quiet, very nice views.
