Awesome dog park! Right next to the river, huuuuge space super lovely!!

Latest Check-Ins
Nice dog park if you have a large dog who likes to swim. Right on the river. If you have small dogs, dog expecting to play with other dogs or a more traditional fenced in dog park this is not the place. Parking is small and in a strange spot, right in front of someone's trailer.
Report Check-InNothing special. Dusty and hard to park. If your pup is used to being off leash on BLM land this isn’t worth the visit.

Apparently Durango residents aren't aware of the magical effects of the fabled "dog poop bag". Honestly be prepared to use at least three bags... one for your dog and two for your feet. However, this park really is quite gorgeous and spacious. nestled between a sizable river and a large mountain it's one of the most scenic dog parks we've ever visited.
