Refugio for travelers - place to cook, wood heater, bunk bed, trash bin and wind/rain shelter. Not sure about electricity and toilets but there are solar panels and one toilet-shape building.

It’s ok inside. I’m not a fan of the old mattresses and would prefer just simple wooden boards, so I set up my tent in the wind shadow of the Refugio in a stormy night. Did the job. The pit toilet was in a surprisingly usable state.
Report Check-InTravelling by bicycle northbound towards Magellan strait. Refugio was open. One window pane missing which I was able to patch with a piece of mattress foam. There is a wood burning stove and wood inside - poor design, chimney leaks smoke - need to keep door open. Only 1 mattress on lower bunk. Warmer than outdoors and most importantly, protected from the wind. No cellular signal. Pit toilet. No electricity, as far as I could tell
Report Check-Inwe passed by the shelter but it was locked... we advise any person planning on staying there overnight to probably ask at the village before
