Tried to call ahead, but no one answered. When we arrived, the administrator said they couldn’t host us for camping. He said we didn’t give 24 hours notice, but he also said the bathrooms were being renovated or repaired. The grounds are really pretty with lots of animals, so it’s a shame it didn’t work out.

We stayed there with our bikes and tent. We paid 6 dollars per person . You can have a warm shower in one of the rooms. They let us use the dining room. Fast wifi . You can buy cheese . Very friendly dogs .

Beautiful hacianda next to the north entrance of Cotopaxi National Park. They offer upscale Airbnb rooms, parking, artisanal products and agrotourism. Great place in the middle of the volcanic valley. If you give them a call beforehand they can prepare superb meals.

Really lovely hacienda with great food. Owner Xavier showed us his cows and the milking process which was really interesting. Had a great lunch (soup, rice, egg, cheese and desert) for 7usd pp. Cheeses are homemade and soo good!! 6 generations of cheese-makers at this hacienda. ORooms are 50 usd each including meals, but did not see them cause way too expensive for us ;-) you can also camp at his place.
