Roadside hotel at 30,000-35,000 for two people. Super friendly and helpful owners. Bikes in rooms and okay with us spending hours cooking with our stoves on the little porch. Seems to have a secure place for motorcycles. 15 minutes walk to the mercado.

I stayed at this location, but it doesn't match the description.
The name is Hostal San Valentin, there's no porch or parking for motorbikes that I can see, and there's a supermarket more or less opposite!
They're still happy for a bicycle in the room (25k for single) but it's quite a steep flight of stairs up to the hotel from street level.
No fan in room, but not required at this elevation. Indeed, the cold shower is edging towards the uncomfortable side of refreshing if you leave it late into the evening!
Good WiFi but noisy.
