Description

nice spot if windy park between the trees. If not park near the river. many places between Puerto Rio Tranquilo and here are no longer accessable for big rigs either due to roadworks or fenced off. great stop for the night.

gate closed when we arrived, we moved on.

Good spot. If camping, head to the main beach then go left. There’s a bit of a track and a few spots under the trees which are nice and sheltered. Water available from the river. Saw a few more spots further down the road which looked good, and it’s flat or downhill so if you’re cycling and want to push on further, there are good options.

what a great place. we stopped here after many places that weren't suitable because they were to close to the road with lots of dust and wind. we had a late lunch here and enjoyed the beautiful views. really amazing. also lot of shelter if there is wind. we didnt stay because we wanted a shower and the riverbank was far away and the current to strong. but would definitely recommend staying here

fance was closed, don't want to bother someone, so we drove on.

Report Check-In

There was a fence so we drove a lil further.

Report Check-In

Gate fixed, can no longer enter. Would be easy to undo the gate but we decided to keep on driving to another spot. Looked nice though.

Wonderful place, view over clear blue river, forests, snowy mountain... in the morning it was rainy and we also saw a huge rainbow... very quiet and beautiful. Fence is still opened / broken

Really big, flat, nice place, off the road. Keep it clean! No poop in the bush! Dig a hole and bury it! Be careful with rising water level!

Just wow!!! We spent two nights here and had a wonderful time! Probably one of the most beautiful places to wild camp! We took some trash from others... please keep this spot clean and enjoy☀️

Report Check-In

As described, absolutely stunning spot and lots of level places to park. Easily accessible from a clear track leading off the road through an open gate/fence. Highly recommended!

Stunning. Perhaps the most beautiful place to stay around here!

Enough space for multiple rigs and tents along the bank. No 4x4 needed. Maybe we were lucky but no wind either.

The fence was open when we got here, so perhaps that needs amending.

Beautiful quiet place away from the road. Can hear some traffic but very peaceful.

wonderful spot off the dusty road. Mountains and a glacier river. who could ask for more! :)

You should not share a beautiful woman. You sould not share a beautiful camp place. But I can't be so bad. This is a amizing spot. The most beautiful place at a river. Please bring with you a good wine to enyoy. In Coyhaique at Casa Alicia they have a fantastic offer of Caliterra Tribut 2014, worth for 12 bottles to spend Christmas and New Year. A bit windy but no bugs. For all kind of campers or bike tends. A lot if place. Hidden from the road and the river is quiet and mirrors the moon. A real beauty. There is a lot of space, a "Qual of the Wahl". This place is so clean, it looks it never has been used before. Please enyoy and be clean.
