Something not right?

Description

Really lovely place to go and spend a day/night. Beautiful waterfall and swimming pool with bar and restaurant.

Day use - 50 pesos per person
Tent camping - 50 pesos per person

We stayed outside with a small camper and they charged us 50 pesos per person for camping. At morning the guy who cleaned the toilets told us, outside camping is free. It were not ok what they had done.
Cabins (looked lovely, but were fully booked when we were there) - from 220 per person (I think...was hard to tell!).

There are bad showers without pressure and they are cold. Toilets available.

Park overnight and use the facilities is allowed outside. The camping is walk in.

A beautiful place to stay. We stopped in on our way out. Clean and beautiful swimming area. Restaurant and dining area. And a zip line!!

Price for camping is now 150. They let me ride my motorcycle through the gate and park it on the grass - I'm not sure if they allowed this just because it was low season (restaraunt and pools were closed). only quads and bikes will be able to get down the path anyway.

The property is really pretty and well maintained. Be aware though that in your vehicle you can only stay in the parking lot outside the property.
You can enter through the gate day and night though to use the facilities.

They wanted 125 pesos/person a night to stay in the parking lot. We managed to talk them down to half of that which still doesn't seem cheap considering it's a parking lot.

Had a quiet and safe night though.

Free to camp in your car on the parking lot. Bathrooms are also free but not the showers. Came in at night and alejandro the night guardb is a friendly person. Safe spot on your way to oaxaca city. Friendly dog - la negra. Is the area pet :)

Completition:
The water in the river isn't clean. It smells like black water and there are foam on the water. The pools are better but a little bit seaweed inside.
At morning the guy who cleaned the toilets told us that camping outside were free. But they charged us 50 Pesos per person for it. Thats not ok.

The street fown there is terrible. The showers are cold and not clean, the toilet is without seat. We stayed near the small stream it is not plan there. Payed 100 Pedos per person include entrens fee.

Beautiful spot next to the river. Beautiful pool and facilities. Parked our motor home next to a small stream. $100 per person for camping and use of facilities. Quiet peaceful night (a Thursday... apparently it gets busy on the weekend). Spotted a Russet-crowned motmot by the waterfall pool!
Hot showers would have been nice but otherwise great!!

Report Check-In

Beautiful balneario, not the usual Mexican style but a nice setting with a large clean pool and lots of lush greenery around. Their is a little restaurant and a tienda on the premises. Shower (cold) and toilet (flush with TP) were clean when we visited.
Watch out, can get super busy on weekends!! Just when we were about to leave roughly 3 buses with Mexicans arrived (> 100 people)
They have space for tent camping, some cabins available and if you stay in your rig you park in the gravel parking lot.
100 pesos pp for entrance + camping
