Description

Really nice place to stay for one night or more. Big flat and grassy field even for big rigs. The owner Rafaël is very kind and helpfully! They are bizzy to make a restaurant in the front of it, but the toilets are ready to use. It is easy to take the bus or taxi to go to the nice city of Fortin. It is really the place to be If you are a paraglider or if you want to have a tandemflight. You find the landing on the campsite. For info you can contact Parapentitis and ask for Salvador. As well for the kids they have several playing objects even a zippline over a small river!

On recommande vivement

When we arrived here, the restaurant was already closed. Some workers I talked to knocked at the door of the owners home and we were told we can park on the grassy field across the street and can use the toilets of the restaurant. Not sure if they don't let anyone park down below the restaurant anymore but that seemed a lot nicer. Anyways, we had a good night sleep and best of all didn't have to pay anything!

We came and tought it's a okay Place to stay. The Green is well maintained. The Ground on the left is not Level at all, so we decidet to stay on the lower (and nicer) Part next to the Restaurant. All Toilets are realy dirty, also the shower. But the realy Bad thing is- you camp next to a Pig Slaughter. The Pigs are Screeming and very noisy (as long as they can). Also they put all they Pig Pee and Poo in the litle River next to you - you will smell it. All in all, there are not many Options in the Area, but next time i would avoid this place. 200 Pesos per car is to much in this case.

I agree with what's already been said. Nice place to park/camp with a nice view from your camping spot of the highest point in Mexico. Owned by a very nice and helpful family.

very nice, the owner is friendly and the Pico de Orizaba can be seen from the site, 200 pesos. a bit thought to get in with a Class A RV but doable.

200 pesos. You can either park in front of the restaurant to have easy access to toilets, water, power. Or you can camp in grassy area across the street (not flat) or below the restaurant. (Lots of dog poop in grassy areas.) Owner Rafael is very nice. Restaurant only open on weekends, so it's very quiet the rest of the time. We were able to use the tables and chairs for cooking/eating/hanging out, which was very nice. Rafael also let us use the dishwashing sink out back.

New and nice place. Nice view to the vulvano. Could need some better toilets and showers. Me with 1.85m couldn't stand in the shower... Cold water and fancy doors... But well - besides this everything is here. Was camping underneath a shelter on the other side of the little River that goes trough the property... Paid 100 for motorbike and tent ... Good place for kids with trampoline and other fun stuff...
