This is a large parking lot just south of the boat ramp itself. The lots along the beach outside of Navarre are unreliable. We've read that other people have been ticketed up to $100 for staying overnight. This spot is a super quick drive to beautiful beaches and is located close to a few restaurants/bars, a gas station, a beach boardwalk, and fishing pier. Bathrooms are on site for the boat ramp. We parked next to a bunch of seemingly unoccupied large RVs, but noone was around. The lot directly next to the boat ramp said no over night parking but the lot closer to the water tower had no signs, and we weren't bothered, even by the cops who drove by. I think the water at the bathrooms is potable.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Unfortunately in both entrances there is this sign stating no overnight parking.
Report Check-InWe couldn’t really find this. Found a large lot, seemed like overflow and was at the coordinates listed, but it specifically said no parking. Drove down to the beach spots on the national sea shore as well and so no camping or RV parking. Ended up going stealth at a hotel near by and didn’t have any issues, seems like a bit of a tough spot to park out here though.
Report Check-InCalled the local Walmart to see if they would allow overnight parking and they said no but recommended this parking lot. We slept overnight along with another RV and were not interrupted. Some signs that say no overnight parking but no one bothered us and we stayed most of the next day as well. Wind off the ocean was vicious overnight and we didn’t sleep very well because of the shaking. We’d stay here again because the location was good but not for very long and only to visit the beach and pier! A ton of people were walking their dogs along this path throughout the day so it seems like a great location for those with pets.
