El Salvador
Gated Parking lot, nothing special but there are not many in town. Quite narrow entrance but still doable with practically all vehicles. Paid $4 to stay overnight. The hotel segen (very nice, $20 for a private room) does not allow overland parking (unless paying for the room). The owner (Margarita) is nice. A family lives at the back of the parking lot.
Gate-arch at entry around 2.5m high.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.

closed when we arrived. as all other parqueos in town. on a saturday.
Report Check-InThere is now a gate-arch with a height of around 2.5m (guesstimated) so no good for big rigs.
Report Check-InWe stayed for 2 nights in this parking lot while exploring Ataco - Margarita is super nice, she lives in the house next door.
She’s had some negative experiences with previous overlanders (people leaving without paying!) so she was a bit sceptical at first about letting us stay but we managed to convince her and she was happy to have us there!
Rosa and Jaime live on the back and were also really welcoming and friendly.
Nothing more than a parking space but good for a night or two. Walking distance to center and market.
Gate is a bit over 2,50 meters wide so not fit for big rigs, our van and our friends’ barely made it through it.
Ps: if you want to buy good cheap Salvador coffee, ask Margarita as she sells it!
